Before you begin you'll have to do some assembly but it's relatively easy to follow anyway and won't take more than few minutes. Anyhow, to begin with, the noise levels aren't that high and are acceptable + the suction is pretty decent but don't expect the best of suctions out there either. The foot on/off switch might need a bit getting used to, for some, but once you're familiar with it... I think it's pretty efficient.

However because of the low price the outfit seems to be like made out of cheap plastic materials so try not to let it fall from high grounds :). The vacuum cleaner is easy to use (lift, carry around, etc) thanks to the weight and you can use the provided tools for cleaning upper areas and other subtle materials such as furniture as well.

It has a low profile thus can be used to clean under beds and other "troublesome" places too. The built in clean-filter indicator which notifies you when it's time to clean the filter is a very useful feature worth mentioning. The dirt cup can be easily emptied without a hassle and includes a soft bumper for protecting against scratches.

So as an ending note, if you're looking for a bit of a cheap, easy to use, multifloor ready vacuum cleaner and can cope with the fact that the suctions or the performance in general is not superior but "decent", well then for its asking price the Hoover Sprint QuickVac UH20040 upright is a pretty decent vac nonetheless.

Don't over use the detergent but make sure to use a bit more on tough spots. And as said, you can easily control its output which also pretty useful (there are few models that overuse the detergent "automatically"). The cleaning path has some width but still it can fit under narrow objects and few other smaller places. Although because of the tanks, you may not be able to go as far as a stick-vac goes under narrow place, still that 13" does help you to cover a larger area quickly and for a powerful floor cleaner this has to be tolerated.

The detergent leaves a nice "smell" which is very handy as well. Once filled, the tank can be emptied with ease and since they're well sealed, no leaking issues to report either.

So, if you want one of the best hard floor cleaners available that has the ability to vacuum, clean and suck all those (well, a lot of it, at least) dirty water in thus resulting a quicker drying up times, etc... then I highly recommend the Hoover FloorMate SpinScrub FH40010B. Another great product from Hoover.

Hoover WindTunnel Anniversary U5491900 is a powerful upright vacuum cleaner that comes a lot of useful features such as a dirt finding system, few different height adjustments, on-board tools, ergonomic handle, wider cleaning path... although not a self propelled one, still because of the weight and other aspects, pretty easy to use nonetheless.

The nozzle is actually a power-head and as a result it cleans carpets really well!. From deep-pile to medium-> low-pile carpets, it suits for them all. It has two lights which turns from Red to Green meaning that your carpets are clean. Although it does make few noises but certainly not a loud vac and remove food spills, dust and pet hair really well nonetheless. Make sure to adjust the height settings according to the carpet to get the best possible results.

The wire cord is long and certainly there aren't any complaints there. The nozzle is wide which helps to cover a larger area quickly but sometimes, if you have tight corners or hard to reach places then that 15" width can be a bit difficult to "fit-in". But you can use the hose attachment with a nozzle on those occasions anyway. So not a big thing actually. And if you have a lot of open grounds, then you'll be able to not only clean them thoroughly but faster too. The bag is well sealed and easy to empty + the ergonomic handle feels comfortable while using as well.

It is one of the best carpets cleaners available but can be used on tiles or few other bare floors but don't hope for the same excellent results on bare floors. The hose attachment is very useful but it could've been a bit longer in my opinion. Anyhow, if you want an excellent carpet cleaner that is easy to use, durably built and comes with a very cheaper price tag (especially, considering all of its features) then the Hoover WindTunnel Anniversary U5491900 is among one of the best products of its kind. A highly recommended product.

Remember, this is not your rug doctor replacer by any means. But it's not to say that the F5808-900 isn't powerful. For its size and caliber (and the price) it is quite powerful. It is not a self propelled one but comes with a beater bar (no rotating brushes) and cleans the carpets thoroughly (both dust and stains), anyway. The suction is also pretty good and the carpets dry out reasonably faster as well.

The handle feels comfortable... but the wire cord length may not be enough for some. In that case be prepared to get a little help from an extension cable. But as said before, when considering its very low price (for a carpet steamer) things like these has to be tolerated.

So, for a very reasonable price, if you want an easy to use carpet cleaner (not a heavy duty commercial cleaner anyway) then the Reconditioned Hoover F5808-900 SteamVac is a pretty decent product.

First of all, it is very very light in weight!, although not the most powerful suctions still, for the price it is pretty good nonetheless. You have to keep pushing the button to keep the motor running, which has both good and bad aspects. For instance, keep pushing a button for longer periods isn't the most enjoyable task in the world, yet it helps to preserve some of the battery (I guess). The noise levels may be slightly higher than some other similar vacs, still not a biggie :).

As said, you can use it to suck-in both dry (removes decent amount of pet hair too) and wet "stuff" such as milk for instance too. Not only on inside house, it is a pretty handy car insider cleaner as well. The battery won't last that long to be honest and being a cheap vac, you can't ask for the best of everything either.

Anyway, if you're looking for a light duty easy to use hand-held vac to clean small messes such as food spills, dust/debris and needs it to has a very cheaper price, then the Hoover S1120 Wet/Dry vac is actually a pretty good product!.

As mentioned earlier, remember, this is not a carpet steamer. If you want steam, then you'll have to boil or use hot tap water. It is not self propelled but still easy to pull and push nonetheless. The F5912900 is famous for its ability to remove "ancient" stains created by food spills, milk, wine, pet stains, etc as well. The "5" rotating brushes work amazingly well while removing a huge amount of dust/stains out of the carpets and the 1 Gallon tank is easy to empty too.

It won't automatically mix the detergent, so make sure to read the manual and choose the proper quantity. The wire cord length of 24ft is slightly lower than the standard 25ft that we usually see, yet it will be enough for most of us anyway. The hose is not that long but you can use it with the help of the hand-powered brushes to clean inside vehicles or other similar places as well.

It has really powerful suctions and the carpets dry out pretty quickly than normal but, under heavy dust/stains, you may want to use it with a steady (a bit slow) speeds if you want the maximum results. The durability is also pretty good but don't expect it to replace something like the impressive rug doctor (which is very pricy anyway) but for its price the SteamVac does an exceptional job nonetheless!.

It comes with a beater bar that is especially designed to reach deep down in carpets while cleaning. And because of the power of the beater-bar, you can clean deep pile carpets with very little efforts in comparison with others (even though it is not a self-propelled vac, pretty impressive!) and make sure to adjust the height according to the surface as well. When moving from carpets to bare floors (wood and hardwood for instance), you must turn off the beater-brushes, otherwise, they can damage subtle floors such as hardwood for instance.

Make no mistakes, it is really powerful, but does make few noises nonetheless. But again, the noises are quite bearable, so not a big concern anyway. With the help of the extension hose (air-powered hand tool) you can clean a lot of pet hair from subtle materials such as couch or other places as well. The bags are really easy to remove/insert, well sealed, and is highly recommended if you have allergies.

The 9 kg+ wire cord length is more than enough for most of use and in comparison with some other 25ft standard models, this is actually 5ft+ extra long too. Although it is not a self propelled vac, still because of the weight and the power of the brushes, it is pretty easy to use (even on high density capers) nonetheless. On hard floors such as bathroom floor or tiles, it basically gave the same results as with the carpets. And with the help of the extension hose + the attachments, you can use it on upholstery or other upper places too. The filter indicator goes to Red, meaning it's time for them to be cleaned. After washing them, make sure to thoroughly dry them before putting back in.

The air-powered hand tool can be used on subtle surfaces and is especially made for picking animal hair, although the hand-tool is not as powerful as the nozzle, but still for its size and purpose, it is very handy!. Not the most quietest and does make some noises but not unbearable and more than acceptable anyway.

So, if you want a all purpose vac that can be used on a lot of floors, easy to use, long wire which enables for longer reach, few tools that can come in handy at times and most importantly has a very reasonable price, then I highly recommend the Hoover WindTunnel Bagless T-Series UH70105 vacuum cleaner!. If you want a floor cleaner that is both portable but as the same time delivers powerful suctions and wouldn't mind carrying the canister around on your back using a shoulder-wrap (weight only a little anyway), then Hoover Commercial Should Backpack C2401-010 is an excellent solution!.

Although, being a canister, if you have a lot of deep pile carpets, then a backpack vac is not the best tool when it comes to deep cleaning them either. But for cleaning upper areas such as stairs, ceilings or bare floors such as hardwood, wood, tiles, etc (or even on low-pile carpets/rugs) with excellent results, a backpack vac can come in real handy nonetheless.

As said before, it lacks the characteristics of a deep pile carpet cleaner (no beater brushes..., etc) so if you have a lot of deep-pile carpets then you might want to look for something else. But on bare floors such as tiles, wood, hardwood, ceramics + on low pile carpets it does perform really really well!. The suction is really powerful and removes a lot of dust thus giving great looking floors afterward!.

If you use the wrong vac on subtle floors such as on hardwood for instance, you have to be really careful, otherwise they can easily damage it. But the Hoover backpack can be used to clean hardwood floors and it won't make any scratches whatsoever. So not only it is powerful tool but it also is a very gentle performer as well. It has a very long wire cord and a wand which enables cleaning from floor up to the ceiling with ease.

For an any vac, a longer wire cord is always handy. But when you receive something that has 15 meters + lengths... you can clean even the most longest staircases without having to be afraid of the power source. As said, it uses washable cloth-bags thus preserving the cost of buying bag after bag. But then again, if you are allergic to dust, etc... then a sealed once-usable bag is the best option (you can easily switch to a non-cloth bag if you like!).

Cleaning a lot of tight places such as under tables, furniture or beds, etc is pretty easy thanks to the different nozzles and their widths, but as a bit of a "negative" factor, it gets a bit hot sometimes which you can feel thorough the back. Again, this is not a big deal and certainly not a concerned health issue by any means.

So, if you want a durable, light-weight, powerful vac that can be used to clean a lot of different types of floors and willing to pay the bit higher price, then I highly recommend the Hoover Commercial Shoulder Backpack C2401-010. An excellent product!.

The agitator brushes work really well on carpets by removing deeply carved dust/pet hair as said before, which is not a surprise since they are the experts when it comes to deep cleaning carpets. Although if you have a lot of deep pile carpets, then try to go for an upright with self-propelled feature which are always better than canister for that, but on normal (medium-pile) carpets and rugs it does clean really well nonetheless. It comes with a hard floor tool that can be used on subtle wood or hardwood for instance, but even without it, you can still use it on subtle floors, but make sure to turn off the brush-roll first.

The nozzle width maybe a bit wider to fit in between some narrow corners or objects, in that case use the smaller power head attachment. Although it is a bit pricey and for that price the durability doesn't feel like superior either (you know, cheap plastics, etc). So if you want something really durable, then S3670 may not be your best choice.

But other than that, if you want a canister with a power nozzle that can be used to clean carpets, stairs (or upper areas in general) and bare floors, but can accept the price tag and the medium durability, then Hoover WindTunnel S3670 is actually a pretty good vac.

Even though it is not self-propelled, thanks to the power of the brush-roll and the weight, it's really easy to both pull and push which is something that you should always consider before buying a vac if you have deep pile carpets or thick rugs for instance. And because of that powerful suctions it lifts off dust and pet hair with ease and can be recommended for individuals with lots of pets!.

But remember it has no brush-roll on/off button and as a result you should be careful while using it on subtle surfaces such as wood or hardwood. Still you can use the proper height, but cannot be recommended if you have a lot of subtle floors. The noise is low which is one of the best things about a vacuum cleaner (well they're all noisy and few like the UH70120 are available these days), especially considering its power.

When combined with the tools such as the air-driven hand tool, you can clean hard to reach places and furniture as well. The wire cord is long and when combined with the hose they both come in really handy while cleaning stairs especially. The dust cup is really easy to empty too.

So as an ending note, if you have wood or any other "scratch-able" floors then you'd be better off with something like this Miele S168, BUT if you have a lot of rugs/carpets to clean (filled with dust and pet hair), then Hoover WindTunnel T Series UH70120 is an excellent performer nonetheless. Highly recommended if you have a lot of carpets!.

Thanks to the power brushes + the suctions, it does clean carpets by not only removing dust and stains (not the best stain remover but... pretty decent) but has the ability to remove pet hair from your carpets as well. The weight is also really low when comparing with the rug doctor (one of the best for these jobs, but pricey!) and glides through deep pile carpets without much of a hassle too.

The detergent bottle may not be enough if you have a larger area to clean but they are pretty cheap anyway. The wire cord is not that long, which could be troublesome when cleaning larger hall for instance, but you can always use an extension cable as a quick fix, so not a huge concern. The durability may not be the best, but when considering its impressively lower price, the Hoover SteamVac FH50010 does an amazing job by deep cleaning your carpets and rugs nonetheless!. A highly recommended product.
