Although it is a bit heavy, but unless you want something that is easily carry-able by lifting, thanks to the self propelled feature, it takes very little efforts while pulling and pushing nonetheless. The stretch hose is attached to the canister, so you don't have to remove and insert it every time you need to use it. When moving from carpet to bare floors, you have to manually activate via a button, and on wood or laminate floors the brushes stop rotating automatically which as said earlier helps to avoid scratches.

Thanks to the suctions + brush-roll, it picks up every type of cat/dog hair from the floors, and for stairs and upholstery, etc make sure to use the pet hair tool. From bigger looking things such as food spills to conventional dust, it just suck them all in!. The edge cleaning bristles easily clean sharp edges and corners, although sometimes the 15 inch wider nozzle may not fit under all the tight places. But the height is kept at a minimum, so hopefully, unless you have some really "tiny" places, the nozzle will reach out to places without much of a hassle.
It comes with both a headlight and a dirt sensing system, the headlight is pretty useful but don't always trust what the "sensors" say, since the readings aren't always accurate. The bag once filled will be notified via the full-bag indicator. It is pretty easy to remove, filters allergic and dust mites, etc. If you have allergies to dust then it is truly a blessing! (vacuum cleaners with bags are always better than the bag-less products for allergy sufferers).
As a final note, remember, although it is pretty easy while pulling and pushing, but because of that weight it won't be that easy if you have to lift and carry around quite frequently.
