The smaller weight makes it really easy to carry around. The noise levels are impressively low and when the micropads become dirty just wash them (machine washable) re-use again. The carpet gliding feature is not there, but again because of the weight it won't that hard to push either. Be careful about the steam output since some users do blame the cleaner, but most of the time, no disrespect but they don't know when to let go of that steam-output controller! (button). So make good judgments and you'll be just fine.
So, other than the shorter cord length the bissell steam mop 1867 is an impressively quiet, easy to use, chemical free utility for cleaning hard floors that comes with a very reasonable price. This is a very popular and a highly recommended product.
