The Helix 47R51 does not lack any suction power either!. It is really powerful for its caliber and cleans both dust and pet hair really well as a result. You can use the rubber nozzle attachment where the standard nozzle doesn't fit (you know, hard to reach places, etc) as well. Although it can get a bit hot, but again not a big concern and quite normal for a vac anyway. The wire cord length is also pretty decent. The dust cup is large in comparison with other similar hand-held models and easy to empty too.

One annoying thing though, the "cleaned" air is driven out of the vac in a way that, sometimes it blows away some of the dust on the very floors that you want to clean. Although this again not a huge concern and as a quick fix you can try changing the angle while approaching floors or surfaces for instance. Anyway, it's a good thing that it is powered directly through a wire rather than a battery, since even under the most powerful batteries, these vacs would only last about 10-15 minutes (20 at max) most of the time.
The handle is ergonomic and comfortable as well. The noises are low in comparison with the power it delivers, which is always welcomed :). So, for a very cheaper price, if you want a hand-held vac that has excellent suctions + enables you to easily clean hard to reach places (including inside vehicles) with pretty good results afterward, then I highly recommend the Bissell Cleanview Helix 47R51.

Bissell SpotBot ProHeat Hands-Free 12U9A Deep Floor Cleaner

Bissell SpotBot Hands-Free 12U9A is a semi-automatic floor cleaner (stain remover actually) that can be operated using both, built in automatic presets or manual operations. From spraying the cleaning solution to brushing and sucking out the dirty water... in automatic mode, it does all by itself. It's compact in size, highly durable and can be used on carpets, stairs and upholstery as well.

Here are the main hardware details...

*. Comes with the Microban protection (a technology which prevents or minimizes bacteria activities on carpets or other floors thus resulting less stain "expansions").

*. Built in heater (heats up water about 25 degrees at max settings).

*. 9 Amp vacuum motor.

*. 32 Ounces of tank capacity.

*. Soft-bumper - No.

*. Carrying handle.

*. Comes with the Oxy-gen 2 (16 Ounces) and 8 Ounces of little green formula.

*. Wire cord length - 4.8 Meters (roughly). A bit short in comparison with uprights or canisters, but for its size and caliber this is pretty much the standard lengths nonetheless.

Although unlike the Bissell Autocare 14252 model which is especially made for cleaning inside vehicles, but you can use the 12U9A inside cars as well. Although it won't heat water as hot as with a steamer, but for its purpose the temperatures are more than enough. As said before, you can switch between automatic and manual "modes" with ease. While using the hand-tool with the hose for cleaning upholstery, etc make sure to set it to the manual mode. The automatic mode has two settings.

1. First mode - Runs about 3 minutes continuously.

2. Second mode - Runs about 6 minutes (continuous).

And once finished cleaning a spot, it'll notify you via its built in "beep". Once fully filled, the solution tank can last up to 12 minutes (which is about 4 cycles of the first automatic mode). From stains that are made out of food spills, puke, pet urine, wine, etc... the SpotBot does an exceptional job, and removes them all!. Although, when using it in manual mode, you'll have to be patient until it finishes a spot (you know, keep holding the hand-tool, etc) but other than that, most of the time the automatic mode does an excellent job.

You can pause/resume the cleaner using the soft button as well. The suction is also pretty good and as a result, the carpets dry-out reasonably faster too. But remember, this is not a carpet/rug cleaner, a stain/spot remover only.

So, if you have a lot of rugs/carpets filled with tough stains and looking for a tool that is durably built, powerful and does its job without you having to do anything at all, then I highly recommend the Bissell ProHeat Hands-Free 12U9A.

Bissell Auto Care ProHeat 14254

Bissell Auto Care ProHeat 14254 is an especially made dirt and spills remover that can be used in inside vehicle interiors. Not only inside vehicles actually, you can use it on carpets, stairs or upholstery inside your home as well. It uses a cleaning formula which is especially designed to remove stains and comes with few of its own tools as well.

Let's have a look at the main hardware details first.

*. Can be used on Carpet, Upholstery, Auto and, Stairs mainly.

*. 9 Amp motor.

*. Has an inbuilt heater, so you don't have to boil water whenever you need steam (there are few that "make" you do that!, and even call themselves "steamers!").

*. 48 Ounces of tank capacity.

*. It sprays and sucks the dirty water in at the same time, thus resulting in a faster drying up times.

From stains that are "created" by food spills, pet urine or grease spots inside vehicles, this little fella the 14254 cleans them really well!. With the hand powered tool (combined with the hose), you can clean areas such as car/van seats filled with dust and stains as well. It heats up pretty quickly and easy to dispose the dirty water afterward too. For more enhanced results under heavy stains, you can try spraying the chemicals and leave it on them for about few minutes. Then use the vac on the spots, this should remove most of the "tough" stains.

You can use it inside your house for cleaning carpets/rugs with the same excellent results as well. But remember, this is not a replacement for a commercial rug cleaner, only suitable for cleaning smaller spaces (with heavy dust/stains nonetheless). Because of the chemical and the brushes (with the help from the steam of course), it is an excellent tool for removing "ancient" coffee stains too.

So, for a very reasonable price, if you want to remove all of your stains and dust inside your vehicles (+ within the house as well) with ease, then the Bissell Auto Care ProHeat 14254 is one of the best of its kind without a doubt. Another great product from Bissell.

Bissell FeatherWeight 3106B Bagless Vacuum Cleaner

If you have a lot of  bare floors filled with dust and pet hair and looking for a light weight vac that can be used with less efforts + a price-tag that is impressively lower, then Bissell FeatherWeight 3106B holds the answer!.

Although you can use it on carpets as well, but when considering the physical aspects of the vac, I gotta say, you'd better off using it on bare floors rather than thick carpets or rugs in general.

Here are the main hardware details ...

*. 2 in 1 type product actually. It can be converted into a hand-held vac as well.

*. Can be used on bare floors and low pile carpets/rugs.

*. 1.2 Amp motor. Don't hope for superior suctions, but not bad for its size.

*. 3 Stage filtration + cyclonic suctions.

*. 4.9 Meters long power cord - pretty short actually (but should be expected when considering the price).

*. No manual height settings available.

*. Bagless.

*. Weights very little - 2.2 kg!.

You can use it on carpets or rugs if you like, but it simply don't have the suction power to remove all of the dust and the pet hair nonetheless. Although on low pile carpets you may get slightly better results, still not the best for that job anyway. It has roller bars in the nozzle but you can use it on wood or hardwood type subtle materials without having to worry about scratches either. Although it is not as powerful as some of the more pricier vac... still on bare floors it pulls out impressive amounts of pet hair and dust, which is again a bit of a surprise when considering its size.
The dust-cup is easy to empty and even though it has a smaller capacity, won't get filled-up that often either. It is really easy to use (mainly due to the weight) and when combined with the upholstery tool + the size of the nozzle, it easily fits under almost all tight places such as under beds for instance. Since you can "create" a hand-held of out the main unit, it is pretty handy for cleaning on couch or other upper places which is an added advantage for the user as well.

As said, the wire cord is not that long, so sometimes you'll have to use an extension cord for that, anyway, for a very little price, if you have a lot of bare floors and okay with the moderate suctions that this vac brings, then the Bissell FeatherWeight 3106B is a bargain :). Good vac, but can only be recommended for light duty job.

Bissell Quicksteamer PowerBrush 20803

Bissell Quicksteamer PowerBrush 20803 is a multi floor cleaner that can be used from carpets/rugs to hard floors and comes with a dirtlifter power-brushes, light in weight, a bare-floor tool, easy to remove nozzle, bigger wheels for smoother maneuvering and most importantly a very reasonable price as well :).

Here are the other hardware details...

*. 3.3 Amp motor. Although not as powerful as some of the others, still pretty powerful for its caliber. And on the other hand, you can't measure the power of a vacuum motor solely based on its Amps either.

*. Ideal for removing spots and stains on rugs/carpets especially.

*. Cleaning path width of 9". Not the most widest but, this does enable it to reach out hard to reach places nonetheless.

*. Rotating brushes.

*. Wire cord lengths of 6 meters which is short to be honest. But then again, for its price it is not bad at all.

*. No brush-roll on/off switch.

*. Does not come with Microban protection (helps to reduce bacteria actives in floors and the steamer itself, if had, pretty handy for allergy sufferers but very few vacs come with it anyway).

*. 1.9 Liters of tank capacity.

*. Comes with a cleaning formula of its own.

*. For tools you'll only get a bare floor tool.

*. Weight about 6.4 kg.

Although the name "Quicksteamer" is a bit misleading to be honest because the 20803 does not have an inbuilt heater. So, if you want steam, then you'll have to manually pour boiled water. It needs a little assembly first, but it won't take than few minutes which is pretty easy. Anyhow, while on carpets and rugs it works surprisingly well (you know the price can even make you a bit "skeptical"). From dust to stains... it cleans them thoroughly thus making them looking really good afterward.

You can use it on bare floors as well, but I wouldn't recommend it on subtle floors such as wood or hardwood since there is no way that you can turn off that brushes and change the height manually. Although they say that it can be used "safely" on subtle surfaces, but if you have a lot of "sensitive" floors and want to clean them without making any scratches then I don't think I can recommend this for you.

The wire cord length is a bit short, so if you have a larger area to clean, then you'll have to use an extension cable (not always though). The dirty water tank capacity is small but very reasonable when considering the price and it is very easy to empty as well. The 6kg+ weight is one of the best things about the Quicksteamer, not only while pulling and pushing, but if you have to lift it and carry around then this is very handy.

So, if you want a carpet/rug cleaner that is easy to use and gives excellent results nonetheless, but willing to bear things like the shorter power cord, that fact that it is best for only carpets/rugs, the floors may take a while to complete dry-out, then the Bissell Quicksteamer PowerBrush 20803 is actually a pretty good product, especially when concerning the price!.
