Electrolux Pronto 2 In 1

Electrolux pronto 2 in 1 is a stick vacuum cleaner (EL1000A2 model) which has a very little weight which is about 12lb, one of the most "slim" looking vacs which can come in handy for sneaking into tight corners (etc), and as the name tries to tell us it is a 2 in 1 type product, meaning the stick vac can be "converted" into a handheld portable vacuum cleaner. There are no wire codes either (powered by a battery). So as usual let's look at some of the things that it packs with in details.

*. Takes very little space when it comes to storing but remember that the "slim" factor has a negative effect on the dust-cup and as a result the users are provided with a smaller (0.08 Gallons) cup, not bad for its size anyway.

*. The weight is about 5.5 lb or 2.9 kg (almost 3) and is one of the most lightest too.

*. The motor consumes about 78.4 Watts of power (according to Electrolux). And uses 9 Volts.

*. It comes with two (2) different speed adjustments which can be controlled with the provided soft switch.

*. Has the ability to do four level filtering but the filters aren't good HEPA models.

User Feedback Section

It is made out of cheap plastics, so be careful while using it so don't get too excited about the durability. Especially made to be used on hardwood floors and cleans decently well, although it should be apparent that it does not suite for heavy duty cleaning, only for light-duty jobs. The noise is moderate ("thanks" to the somewhat low air-suctions). Thanks to the ball bearing at the end section, the handle be folded down easily + swivel nozzle is capable of 180 degree smoother rotations as well.

There is a Blue indicator which shows when the battery is charging. And make sure it is in an upright position (otherwise it won't charge). The battery is good and once done a full charging cycle it can last up to 18-20 minutes (depending on the speed settings, etc). The HEPA filters are washable.

The dust cup is small but again when considering the overall size it has to be expected. It has the "easy to empty" feature, so you can dispose the dust without touching them. It can be used on a lot of different types of floors such as hardwood, wood, tiles, carpets (low density), etc but again don't hope for superior suctions nor impressive results either. And if you have deep-pile carpets, then it can be a bit harder to push. As said it can be converted into a hand-held then it runs in the maximum speed and cannot change the speeds to lower settings (which may have a negative effect on the battery life).

So, when considering performance, durability, etc the price of electrolux pronto 2 in 1 100A2 seems a bit high in my opinion. Anyhow, unless you're okay with it's "decent" results and low durability, this cannot be recommended.
