Depending on the amount of dust, etc on the carpets, it doesn't matter how powerful the machine really is you'll have to do the cleanings with a steady speed (a bit slower than usual to get the maximum results or "professional" results in other words). Run few times over them to get the dust and the shampoo out of the carpet which helps to increase the drying up times and their life-time as well.

The brushes are a bit different than the technology used in other products, they don't spin but vibrates! (beater) and collect a loft of dust nonetheless. You can use the attachment tools to clean stairs or other floor types. It will remove spots and stains as well thanks the powerful suctions and the cleaning solution (including the robust brush).

If you want to lift it and take to another floor, etc quite frequently then please try to avoid this since the almost 16kg won't make it any easier. But other than that, if you want a deep carpet cleaner that is built to last 20-30 years into the future without loosing any of its abilities and can cope with the higher price , then the Rug doctor mighty pro plus is the one for you without a doubt. A highly recommended product.
