Hoover MaxExtract 60 PressurePro FH50220

Hoover MaxExtract 60 PressurePro is mainly a deep carpet cleaner which was introduced recently. The reason I said "mainly" is because, not only on carpets but because of the multi-floor ready nozzle, you can use it to deep clean other floors such as sealed wood floors to tiles, etc as well. With automatic detergent mixing to heated drying, double chamber nozzle, adjustable speeds, etc the MaxExtract 60 equips with a lot of useful features of its own.

Below are the main hardware details in brief...

*. 10 Amp motor.

*. Ergonomic handle.

*. 13 Inch wider nozzle.

*. Separate tanks for both clean and dirty water.

*. Heated cleaning - faster drying up times.

*. Comes with a detergent bottle (16oz).

*. 2.7 Meters long hose.

*. Spin Scrub 60 brush system, which is especially built for loosen up dust and spills on carpets.

*. The wire cord is a bit short - 6 meters, so most of the time you'd need an extension cord.

*. Comes with a crevice tool for the hose.

*. As with all the deep cleaners, it weight a bit high (9.9 kg).

If you have pet stains (urine) or a lot of spots then make sure to use the chemical and if you want to dry them out as quickly as possible, then go in a steady speed. Anyhow, the MaxExtract 60 WILL clean your carpets and spills with excellent results!, if you're a bit patient. The drying up times may not be impressively lower but for 2-2.5 hours max for carpets is pretty good in my opinion.

It is especially designed to suck in the cleaning solution without giving it a change to absorb into the carpets (the dual-V nozzle) which otherwise can decrease the life of carpets. Even though it is a bit heavy, but still the weight does not make any issues while using. There is a especial section of the handle for carrying it around. But as said before lifting and carrying something that weights 10kg ain't going to be that easy. So if you want a portable steamer, then this may not be for you.

But other than that, if you want to professionally clean your carpets and few other types of floors, but can cope with the weight and the shorter wire cord, then the Hoover MaxExtract 60 Pressure Pro FH50220 is a pretty good carpet cleaner for its price.

Hoover MaxExtract77 Multi-Surface Pro FH50240

Hoover maxextract77 multi-surface pro is an upright vacuum cleaner that is especially made out to be used on carpets and hard floors. The FH50240 model comes with the heated cleaning which helps to fasten the drying up times which can be a bit of a headache on carpets for instance, 3 different brush rolling speeds settings + two different types of floor detergents and automatic cleaning solution mixing are just a few to name.

Let's consider its main hardware details first...

*. Powered by spin scrub (which also came with the bit "older" hoover floormate h3044) and the dual v nozzle technology for better dirty water suctions.

*. Two different tanks for storing dirty and the clean water (147 oz capacity).

*. Better stain removing from the floors thanks to the pressurized cleaning system.

*. Brushes automatically adjusts speeds, etc according to the surface, so minimal damages.

*. Comes with - 32oz of 2x carpet and upholstery + 16 oz bottle of hard floor detergent.

*. 9" hose attachment.

*. 10 Amp motor.

*. For on board tools - an Upholstery, Squeegee and a spin scrub hand tools are provided.

*. The roughly 6 meters of wire cord length is not bad but would have been a bit longer.

*. Screwdriver assembly needed.

*. Not a light weight product by any means. So make sure you're okay with the 10.2 kg of weight.

*. 2 Year warranty period.

The maxextract 77 series can be used on lots of surfaces as said before but when it comes to cleaning carpets, it just rocks!. It weight a bit high too but still when considering the separate bigger tanks, etc this has to be expected anyway. The cleaning solution and the clean water are kept in different tanks which allows users block whenever you don't want the chemicals on your floors.

The dirty water tank can be emptied with ease and as "promised" it will remove those pet stains, etc as well. Not just carpets, but while using on other surfaces such as tiles or bathroom floors the wider 13" nozzle performs really good. But the height of the nozzle might give some troubles while trying to reach places like under beds for instance.

Anyhow, if you have to lift and carry it around then the FH50240 won't be the best choice but if you have a lot of carpets, wood, hardwood, tiles, etc floors to keep clean, then the hoover maxextract77 multi surface pro is a highly recommended product.
