The H3030 SpinScrub 500 is not just a washer but as said earlier, it is a dry vac as well. It has very powerful suctions and as a result it suck almost all the water it puts on your hard floors. Although on hard floors the vac can suck the dirty water somewhat easily (when comparing with carpets for example) but the rest assured, it is powerful!. The tanks don't leak and can be emptied pretty easily too.

It comes with few different attachments. While on hardwood or similar surfaces make sure to use the floor attachment and on tiles, etc use the grout brush depending on your needs. But never use the grout tool on wood nor the wood attachment on tiles!.

There is a squeeze trigger which controls the water and the cleaning solution. Make sure to use it in the proper amounts (it just takes few minutes to get a sense, afterward it is pretty easy to use without spilling unnecessarily). The solution has a nice smell "attached" to it which is pretty useful if you have a lots of pets around ;-). As mentioned, the tanks are very large and you can cover larger spaces with minimal refillings. Thanks to the powerful spinscrub brushes + the solution, not only dust, food spills, etc but it removes a lot of pet hair from your floors on a single pass as well!.

As mentioned, this is not a portable vac and it is HEAVY. Although the weight doesn't come in between the cleaning and the user that much but still, if you're thinking of something that is carry-able, then please avoid this. The weight would slightly go bit higher when the tank is filled as well. It is very powerful but generates some heavy noises as a result (certainly not unbearable).

But the rest assured, if you want to see professional looking results and want to remove dust, stains, pet hair, etc from your hard floors on a single pass + willing to accept the noise and the weight, then Hoover FloorMate H3030 SpinScrub 500 is one of the best of its kind (wet/dry vacuum cleaner) without a doubt.
