Bissell Lift Off Revolution

Bissell lift off revolution is an upright bagless vacuum cleaner that has excellent pet hair removing abilities. And by combining with the longer hose attachment + the nozzles you can convert this into a light weight, portable vac to clean areas like stars or any area that the standard size vacuum simply won't "fit". This can be used to clean carpets, bare surfaces, rugs, etc.

As said before (see the pic below), you can remove the mid section of the upright thus giving you a portable vac with the hose attachment that can be used to clean smaller areas such as inside cars or vans.

It is multi-floor ready vac but the height adjustments has to be done manually. Although Bissell claims that you can use the HEPA filters without cleaning for a long time but in actual circumstances (under heavy dust and pet hair) you should clean them usually (which is easy btw). Anyway the removable dust cup has a reasonably larger capacity and easy to empty as well. The extra long wire cord is also a very handy feature since it lets to reach a wider circular area while cleaning, but there are no cord rewinding features but again it is not a big deal by any means.

With the proper nozzle attachments and the longer hose, you can use it on stairs or even wood-window frames like upper place too. Depending on the surfaces make sure to turn off the brush-roll (on hardwood for instance) and can use the turbo brush for pet hair removing. It'll basically give the some performances on both hard and rugs, etc (which looks really good after cleaning).

Anyhow, if you can cope with the weight (even the "converted" hand-held) then the Bissell Lift Off Revolution 37601 is an upright that is powerful, multi-surface ready, built for removing pet hair and comes with a very reasonable price. A highly recommended product.
