They have a wide variety of designs ranging from mops, vacuum cleaners, wet and dry vacs, floor scrubbers, etc which are named as Henry, Charles, George, etc and in this article I'll be discussing the HVR200A model.
OK new here's the thing. This is a vacuum that uses bags. I did have my own negative mindsets towards them, but to tell you the truth nowadays then vacs that uses bags are actually better than the bagless ones according to experts.
Let me tell you a bit more about them first.
Bags vs Bagless (filters, etc)
1. Filters (HEPA)
*. They have the ability not just to block things but if you have allergies for instance, all of these HEPA filters are capable of blocking wide range of these allergic materials as well.
*. But if you have pets for instance and when trying to remove pet hair using a vacuum what happens is that when they hit the filter and as the time goes on it'll block most of the air tunneling through it. And the effect of this is that lesser filtration and low air supply for the motor.
And the lesser air for the motor means trouble because as the a result the heat goes up inside... it can really burn-out the motor. In fact this is one of the main reasons behind vacuum motor breakdowns of bag-less models.
This is why the manufacture advices if you have pets around you'll have to clean the filter itself after 6 months and if you don't have cats and dogs then you can run 10-12 months without having to worry much. But the times will vary according to your usages.
*. The cost is also a bit higher in comparison with bags.
2. Bags
*. First they are cheaper than the filters.
*. Even though in the past they used to be really hard to maintain (removing and inserting, etc) but the newer ones are really easy to take care.
*. They also come with embedded HEPA filters inside them and since the motor receives air through a different tunneling system, which helps to enhance its lifetime as well.
*. It is pretty easy to do the disposal with bags. But the never products do have a feature called "easy to empty cup" which makes the bagless disposal pretty darn easy as well. So they are even in that sense.
Let's have a look at the actual product that I was reviewing.

User Feedback Section
This can be used on any type of surfaces and is one of the best hardwood floor cleaning products available. But while on carpets and rugs, it has few drawbacks, such as bit lower performance in comparison with wood surfaces which should be expected since it is a canister + lacks a power nozzle. In that case you can purchase a nozzle that is especially designed for carpets from Numatic web site if you have a lot of carpets.
The noise levels are impressively low which is a great thing about a vacuum cleaner and if you have a lot of pet hairs then you'll love its impressive ability to remove them as well. Anyway the HVR200A Henry vacuum cleaner, apart from the slightly lower performance on carpets which is its only drawback in my opinion... this is really one of the most durable, powerful and a quite vac that you can get. A highly recommended product.
