Miele S163 universal is a lightweight upright vacuum cleaner which suits all of those who search for an easy to use vacuum with powerful features. The nozzle has decent widths (although there are others with wider ones), but because it has a very little height it will most definitely come in handy for gliding under narrow objects with ease as well.

Although S163 is not as powerful as some of their canister models, but still for its size and purpose .. it is quite powerful nonetheless. Because of the nozzle attachment you can use it on different types of surfaces such as tiles, ceramics, carpets, rugs, hardwood, etc and will give you really good looking results!. When "switching" from carpets to bare floors for instance, make sure to use the switch on the floor nozzle tool.

If you have limited space, then use the hook on the handle for hanging. It does pick up pet hair as well but won't be as efficient as the Bissell pet hair eraser for instance, but the "amount" of pet hair removal actually depends on the floor type. So if you have a lot of wood, tiles type floors then yes it'll "lift" em up but won't remove them "impressively" on high density carpets in comparison.

Thanks to the powerful suctions (still quite though) it can pick up larger looking things like food spills and other similar things too but don't try to suck nails or anything metal since they can do some serious damage to it. So if you have a lot of different types of floors to clean, needs it to be portable and makes low noises, then  the Miele S163 Universal is a great product which meets all those requirements.
