The MC-CG885 is really powerful. Thanks to the different height settings and the motorized beater brushes it does an amazing job on bare floors + especially on deep-pile carpets. And as a result it will remove a lot of pet hair from your floors as well. The wire cord is pretty lengthy too.

If you have a lot of pet hair and dust, then you'll have to clean both HEPA filters and the nozzle themselves quite often. With the OptiFlow you'll get a powerful nozzle + the HEPA filter that are pretty easy to remove for cleaning and can be reinserted without much of a hassle. On the handle, as mentioned you can switch between carpets and bare floors (not recommended to be used on hardwood floor cleaning) by using the predefined settings.

So if you have a lot of carpets and bare floor filled with dust and animal-hair, etc and looking for a powerful + a durable cleaning solution, then the Panasonic MCCG885 OptiFlow canister vac is an excellent product!.
