Bissell Healthy Home Vacuum, Review

Bissell healthy home is an upright vacuum cleaner that comes a highly durable belt which has a lifetime warranty, filters that need no replacing, 5 year warranty and can be used on different types of floors as well.

Here are some hardware specifications first...

*. The HEPA filters (does not have the clean filter indicator - not a big deal anyway) comes with few patent technologies of their own such as Airetight and Microban.

*. Can be used to clean various types of floors type such as bare floors, upholstery, carpets, stairs, etc.

*. The cleaning nozzle is very wide (15") and will help to cover more grounds quicker than most other products.

*. Comes with a 12 Amp motor.

*. It has seven different height adjustments.

*. Comes with a 15 ounces of dust cup (easy to empty).

*. Look for the following tools if purchasing - crevice tool, turbo brush and combination of upholstery + dusting brush.

*. Soft bumper included (protects from scratching your furniture, etc).

As you can see, it has a comfortable handle, smoother wheels and a wider nozzle but the apparent drawback is the weight. But unless you're going to need carry it around lifting then the weight isn't going to cause any major issues (13kg roughly), but not suitable for lifting.

It can be used on carpets, upholstery, bare floors and stairs.Where the wider nozzle doesn't fit you can use the crevice tool with the hose attachment and the upholstery on stairs as well. The nozzle has a beater brush which is especially designed to deep clean carpets (including both dust and pet hair). But make sure to turn it off while on hard floors (delicate hardwood for instance) to avoid any damages.

The dust cup is easy to use but remember to clean it (wash) to avoid any odors. The telescopic wand is a nice touch which lets you clean upper areas such as stairs, etc however it is a plastic made but you can pay a bit more and purchase a aluminum wand for better durability (won't be necessary for most of us anyway). If you're using it on furniture for example then make sure to use the contour nozzle. 

So if you're comfortable with the weight and the price, then the bissell healthy home is one of the best upright for heavy duty jobs. A highly recommended product.
