Bissell 2080 Steamer

Bissell 2080 is an upright steam cleaner. If you're looking for a steamer with a little weight which is especially made out to be used as a deep carpet cleaner + most importantly it is affordable. The wire cord is a bit short (which is about 20ft) but since you can fix it by purchasing an extension cable this is not a big problem, apart from that it has an impressive ability to remove stains, food spills, etc on carpets & rugs nonetheless.

You can first add the water and then fill up with detergent or can go with adding the detergent first, either way it's fine. If you follow the instructions on the manual while mixing the detergent, beware that you might empty it pretty soon. You certainly don't need to use it on those amounts (unless you have some really hard stains and deep carved dust).

It may not have the best suctions but still it is quite powerful and will suck in a lot of dirty water thus resulting  faster drying up times. It is a deep cleaner but not as powerful as a commercial one but other than having to go over few times if you have really dirty carpets, most of the time it does an excellent job nonetheless.

And try to get rid of the dirty water from the carpets/rugs as best as you can because if not properly sucked the leftovers of some of these chemicals can damage carpets as time goes on (it is a universal thing for all deep carpet cleaners...not a big concern with the 2080 since it does a fine job anyway). It is not a quite steamer for sure and will make some noises. But again when looking at the price tag, the out-fit and the other hardware this has to be expected.

So, as a final note, if you have a lots of carpets and rugs that has to be cleaned thoroughly (with stains of course), willing to accept the noise and looking for a cheaper product (which is a bit rare for their kind) then the Bissell 2080 Quicksteamer Powerbrush is an elegant solution.
