Oreck BB1100

Oreck bb1100 (DC) is a handheld vacuum cleaner that comes with powerful suctions that other similar "portable" products fail to achieve. It has an impressive warranty period of 10 years! (only for the parts and a separate warranty comes for the motor and labor- more about that later). Oreck is not known for cheaper vacuums and for its size the BB1100 DC (except this oreck steam-it cleaner) also has a bit higher price.

It has powerful suctions + the nozzle has a sealing mechanism which prevents getting out of the dust once sucked in.With the help of the attachments you can use it on different types of places (including cars, stairs as well) and materials.

However the hose attachment seems to loose and tends to detach from the main unit which may be due to a design error but an annoying one nonetheless. So be aware of that. Although it does some decent jobs on rugs and carpets but again don't hope it to compete against a bigger looking commercial vacuum anyway.

But when considering performance the price is a bit high to be honest. Anyhow if you want a portable vacuum for cleaning rugs/carpets, stairs, etc with "decent" results and is OK with the price then the Oreck BB1100DC is for you.
