Hoover Windtunnel

The hoover windtunnel (version 1 and 2) vacuum cleaner series (including UH70110, UH 70205, U6439-900, etc) is powered by an air suction technique called wind-tunneling. Although this is not a new concept but Hoover seems to add few customizations of their own also. So let's have a brief explanation on few of the benefits that you can get by purchasing a unit with this air suction technology and at the middle section there will be the usual one of the product review as well.

How does it work

Now this was first created by aircraft engineers but I will skip that part since no one has no interest in that. Anyway, one of the problems that the conventional vacuum cleaners had was even though they picked up reasonable amounts of dust with their suctions, but usually some of that dirt was pulled back on the floors which is obviously not a good thing. This also made the user to do the cleaning few times to get the desired results.

But what Hoover has done this time is that their designers have found a way to trap that dirt once suck, by the help of two air tunnels. Again this is not something that is unique to them to be honest since Dyson and other manufactures have ways of their own to achieve the same task. Anyway it has a self cleaning HEPA filter which makes it more efficient (+ now you can get the same results by going over once where in the past which required 2 or 3 times, etc).

So the benefits are, better efficient suctions, more through cleaning, less filter maintenance and a little noise reduction are among the main ones. Now I think you have the basic idea of how this works and its benefits so let's head back to the today's review.
Hoover U6439-900 Self-Propelled WindTunnel Ultra Upright Vacuum Cleaner, Review

Now first let's have a look at some of the main features...

*. Equipped with self propelled windtunnel technology.

*. Included HEPA filters (block allergic materials including dust-mites, etc).

*. Weight 12.6 kg, so not a lightweight device and if you have to carry around lifting often, you may want to consider another product like this 12 v vacuum cleaner or the hoover uh30010com for instance.

*. It also comes with few types of (on board) other attachments such as hand tools, nozzles, hose attachments, dusting brush, etc.

*. Adjustable nozzle heights.

*. The rotating brush roll is especially designed to work well on carpets while removing pet hair as well.

User Feedback Section

Remember this one has one of the best vacuum suctions, but the weight will be the negative factor if you're looking for something portable. But the price is also a bit higher in comparison with other products. The assembly won't be that hard if you follow the instruction on the manual.

And one of the users complained about it not being that good of a tile cleaner like the bissell steam mop but you just cannot make judgments that easily because most of the time people use the wrong brush attachments on the wrong floors and complain the results weren't that good enough. So my advice to anyone is to read more reviews and visit the website or a local store and test it yourself.

So if you're willing to cope with the weight, have lots of carpets and looking for a want a very powerful vacuum that clean them with professional looking results then the Hoover U6439-900 Windtunnel will be an excellent choice in my opinion.
