As said earlier this is a multi floor vac and can be use on (when combined with the tools of course) carpets, rugs, hardwood, and bare floors, etc. But the nozzle tools don't have any height adjustments available, not the ideal type if you want to deep clean them but still for everyday carpet cleanings... yes pretty decent. Thanks to the longer telescopic wand (+ the hose) you can use it to clean upper places + subtle materials such as mats for instance as well.

Now, it has a unique design (a separate dust-cup apart from the bag) thanks to the separator cyclonic technology most of the dust/dirt it collects will be "stored" in it thus making the bag usable for a longer periods of times. They can call it whatever the names they like but it's a dust cup... so why the need of the bag then. Anyway remember the negation of the height adjustments can make it difficult for you to push/pull while using (especially on deep pile carpets sometimes).

When considering the features the price seems a bit high. So unless you have a lot of wood, hardwood flooring this may not be the best choice. But if you're buying the Samsung 5115G canister then remember those mentioned "shortcomings". It is certainly not bad but to be honest, but may not be the best one you can get either.
