Bissell PowerEdge Hard Floor Vacuum Cleaner (81L2)

Bissell poweredge 81l2 is an upright hard floor cleaner which was introduced very recently. Now for anyone who just glazes can easily notice the "V" shaped cleaning nozzle. This design actually is not something new and had been seen in their other products as well.

Anyway thanks to this different looking cleaning pad, it will make it much more easy to both "navigate" and clean areas such as corners, furniture "legs", etc without having to attach standard attachments such as a crevice tool for instance thus improving the overall cleaning ability in those areas (edges) especially.

The main hardware features...

*. No need to buy vacuum bags (bagless - easy to empty cup).

*. Best suits under low pile carpets, rugs cleaning and bare floors.

*. 5 Amp motor. So isn't as powerful as this oreck edge vacuum, but still for its caliber it is pretty good!.

*. If you have several floors to keep clean then this is one of the best choices because of the 3.4 kg of weight.

If you especial needs such as removing pet hair then they have another version of the poweredge called the 81L2-T which has exactly the same features, except a different cleaning head (nozzle) which is built especially for removing pet hair. Anyway still the 81L2 can do a similar job but won't be as effective as the 81L2-T model.

The suctions are really good actually but not a quite one either (but then again, they all usually are "loud"). The vacuum suction seems to be a bit less in the corners of the V shaped nozzle but this is normal and not a big deal anyway. There aren't height settings available. But still this won't affect other floor types such as wood for instance. Still, as promised it cleans rugs and carpets, etc really well.

So this won't suit those who want a commercial heavy duty ready type product, but for a very smaller price tag (+ the ease of use thanks to the lower weight, etc) the bissell poweredge hard floor vacuum  is an excellent companion for the everyday house cleaning purposes nonetheless.
