Miele S5381 Leo Canister

Miele S5381 Leo is another German made canister vacuum cleaner that has a powerful built in motor, durable outfit ... yet as always with Miele.. it's pretty quiet. A longer wire cord (more later), uses vacuum bags, smoother/bigger wheels for ease maneuverability, HEPA filter, variable speeds... Leo can be used on both medium to high pile carpets, bare floors and rugs as well.

Without changing the nozzle, you can go directly from carpets/rugs to bare floors with S5381 because of the versatile parquet twister brush. It features the swivel feature (360 degrees) and has a low profile thus glides under furniture without much of a hassle. All the attachments are kept on board, so, easily accessible. The wire cord as mentioned may not be the longest, but it is pretty much ahead of the standard 25ft. So no complaints there (for most of us at least).

It uses Miele made vacuum bags which instantly seal while changing. If you have allergies to dust.. then always try to go for a vac that uses bags (high quality/sealing ones) because they're better than the bagged counterparts (most of the time anyway). The telescopic wand has adjustable heights which can be set according to your preference.

If you have a lot of deep pile carpets then you can purchase an additional power nozzle but for most I don't think it's necessary because the parquet brush works amazingly well by removing things such as conventional dust to pet hair, etc nonetheless.For its power, as mentioned before it's pretty quiet + light in weight as well.

So, if you want a powerful canister vac for cleaning all sorts of floor types (including both upper and below...) with professional looking results afterwards, which is built to last years into the future without losing its abilities, then Miele S5381 Leo is for you. But remember, this is not cheap, but with its impressive results, you won't be disappointed at the end either.
