The main nozzle has a beater-bar inside which gives one of the best suctions + amazing results even under the most deep-pile carpets and rugs!. From larger debris to huge amounts of pet hair... the monstrous ADM-4PNHSF cleans them all. But, it is loud!. Again when considering the power this has to be accepted... still, it's far from being unbearable. So, not a big concern in my opinion. The nozzle has a moderate height thus fits easily under tight places as well.

When moving to bare floors make sure to use the proper nozzle (bare floor nozzle) if you want to avoid making scratches. And because of its power... the same excellent results can be achieved on bare floors as well. As you can see in the picture, then canister is rather a smaller "version" when comparing with the most other canister models. So, while cleaning a larger area you'd have to empty the bag/s a bit often than usual. Anyway as said before, you can use it on delicate materials such as mattresses or curtains... even on computer screen (including TVs, etc). The telescopic wand does not weigh that much thus it won't create heavy strains on the hands either.
