Here are the main specifications...
*. Heavy duty ready 12 rows of motorized brushes.
*. Has an inbuilt heater for steam generation.
*. The cleaning edge is wide which is about 12" (and thick as well). And as a result it won't fit under beds type slim areas. But then again this is built out to be used on carpets and rugs (can also be used on bare floors, upholstery, stairs, etc as well) rather than to sneak in - out. And when considering the 12 rows of brushes this has to be expected nonetheless.
*. Has a standard 12 Amp motor.
*. When switched the dual dirt lifter brushes will start rotating and unfortunately there is no way to turn them off other than switch off the whole unit.
*. Also has the microban protection - which reduce the germs, etc type activities on carpets, etc thus reducing stains expansions.
*. The nozzle maybe thick but has the ability to clean edges (edge cleaning function).
*. Has a 1 gallon larger water tank capacity.
*. For accessories you'll get a crevice tool, 3" stain tool and a 6" stair tool.
*. Wire cord is 30ft long which is very long in comparison (if you don't like wires at all then try this dirt devil accucharge).
*. If you're looking for a portable cleaner then stay away from this. This is a very powerful floor cleaner but still the 11.7 kg won't be ideal if you have to lift it and carry around quite often.
User Feedback Section
It also has few other user friendly settings such as a normal, light, heavy, etc traffic settings. So if you want to get things done in a mildly way with as low noises as possible or want the best possible results including removal of those hard stains then choose the rinse + the heavy function. And as mentioned earlier when it comes to carpets the proheat 2x just rocks!. The 12 rows of motorized brushes will remove both dust and stains, food spills (including the cleaning solution of course).
And make sure to put some sort of a cloth or a towel underneath the machine when disposing the dirty water since it tend to "drop" a little (not a huge deal by any means). And while cleaning also it tend to put some dirty water on the floors but thanks to the powerful suctions they'll be sucked in nonetheless. And as a general tip, go slowly on the carpets (especially if they have a lots of dirt) and let it do its work. The drying up times aren't that impressive but again when considering the amount of cleaning it does it is easily forgivable.
So as a final note, although it is not a hand held type (such as this hoover steam vac jr for instance) floor cleaning product but still other than a bit of a hard time while lifting, etc the weight won't come in between the user and the userfriendlyness (in my opinion). Anyway, for those who want a heavy duty carpet cleaner the bissell proheat 2x will be one of the best products that I've come across so far.
