Below are its other hardware details in brief...
*. No need to do any assembly, can be used right out of the box!.
*. Comes wit separate tanks for both dirt and the clean water (which are see through by the way).
*. Both White (most of the outer surface is covered) and dark Green colors are being used and looks very neutral to the naked eye. And because of the design it can be easily stored and looks like a bowl rather than a steamer.
*. When combined with the hot tap water this can be used on carpets, inside cars, upholstery, etc.
*. Thanks to the chemical (mainly) and the steam ("created" buy you of course), it can be used to remove stains and food "leftovers" as well.
*. Weights about 4.08 kg, so very easy to use.
*. The vacuum motor uses about 480 Watts of power.
*. The wire cord is 12 ft long which is pretty decent for a hand-held steamer. But it wouldn't have hurt if it was more lengthier.
*. The hose also has a length of 5ft as well.

First of all, you cannot use this for cleaning for long time because of the negation of the heater. Once filled inside the hot water will loose its temperature, so unless you have few smaller spots or area to clean this is not a commercial spot remover in anyways. You can use it to clean your couch or sofas as well but since the nozzle end is a smaller one it will take some time but will clean nonetheless. And as mentioned in the beginning you will have to boil the water all by your self and make sure to apply the rinse in the proper amounts as well.
The noise is pretty high and this might be due to the low end outfit (plastic materials). You may even want to consider wearing ear-buds!. And again because of the smaller steam output it takes some tome to cover larger spaces. So unless you have smaller spots to clean and can bear the annoying noises it produces the Hoover Steam Vac JR is cannot be recommended for heavy duty jobs. But a "decent" product for small jobs.
