Shark lightweight bagless upright vacuum cleaner (EP601) is made by a company called Euro-Pro. It comes with reasonably powerful motor, bagless, multi-floor usable and can even be converted into a portable canister as well.

*. A cyclonic vacuum (one of the cool things about it is that, you can "convert" it to a canister by changing few settings!).

*. Comes with the HEPA filters (and are capable of filtering within 0.3 micron levels - lower the number the better).

*. The motor uses about 8.3 Amps (1000 Watts). So in comparison with the usual 12 Amp (which uses about 1400 + Watts) motors that comes with other similar products such as the dyson dc19 origin, the air-suctions and the brush rotations won't be that powerful. But still not weak, but will fit somewhere around the both extremes.

Make no mistakes it is powerful but not extremely powerful as the Oreck edge for instance. But still when considering its size and weight you can't ask for the best suctions either.The HEPA filters are capable of blocking allergic materials and will block about 99.97% that contains in the usual dust. It has two built in speed settings (low and high) and these settings can be accessed through the provided switch with ease.

Since it uses no bags you'll have to empty the cup once filled with dirt (which is easy by the way). And as said earlier you can use it as an upright one or as a handheld one (thanks to the shoulder wrap, etc) and is a very handy portable vacuum cleaner without a doubt too.

It has moderate noises and costs little. So for its price and size if you want a vac that can be used for light-duty jobs on different types of floors and OK with the "decent" durability then the EP601 is yours to take!.
