It comes with a 8.2 Amp motor (the older versions came with a 7.4 Amps if I'm not forgotten) and in comparison with the usual 12 Amp, you can see the bigger picture. But that being said this is not a "waste of your money" type product by any means.
So I think that'll be enough for the introduction and lets move on to the review section. Here are its main hardware details...
*. Upright design.
*. Does not use any bags (read more about both advantages and disadvantages about bags and bagless from this henry vacuum cleaner review if interested).
*. It includes a power nozzle (which uses a motor of its own).
*. Main motor uses 8.2 Amps as pointed out above.
*. The power cord length is low actually and could lead you to buying an additional cord instead. Anyway the length is about 20ft to be exact.
*. Can be used many types of floors but especially designed to be used on carpets and rugs.
*. Comes with an easy to empty cup (not the largest in capacity but more than acceptable in comparison for its size).
*. Has three (3) different height adjustments.
*. There are no LED indicators for notifying when the cup is full but its made out to be see through (but remember that depending on the density of the dirt sometimes it can be difficult to see through anyway).
*. Comes with filters but are not HEPA ones so no allergic, etc type filtration available.
*. Warranty applies to up to a year.
*. Has a very cheaper price tag.

Other than its purpose of cleaning carpets and rugs you can turn off the nozzle and clean bare floors as well. Things from muddy wet carpets or rugs to sand, pop-corn, etc will be suck-in without much difficulty, again not a professional cleaner but a light-duty one.
Thanks to the lightweight design it is very easy to use (especially on places like stairs, etc). But as mentioned the cord length is pretty short but you can purchase an extension cable for that matter anyway. The mop is not the widest or the thickest on either so as a result it will fit under almost all types of "tiny" places such as under cabinets, chairs, beds, etc.
The provided power switch is great but the location will make it harder to reach while using (located bit lower). Not only it has a low weight but also tiny in its own way which makes it easier while storing for example. So, to get cleaned your carpets, rugs, wood, stairs, etc the hoover s2220 flair bagless upright stick vacuum with power nozzle can be a pretty decent product but cannot be recommended for heavy duty work anyway.
