Eureka 4870hz is an upright vacuum cleaner, which has even won the "best buy" award from a well known magazine. Apart from its upright design other Eureka patent technologies such as Power Paw + Rinser Visor are capable of enhancing both dirt removal and efficiently removing things such as animal hair for instance as well.

You have to do a little assembly but is very easy and won't take more than 3-5 minutes. The 4870HZ is not a noisy tool but somewhat moderate. You will get a hose attachment + a wand as well (which can be used to reach areas above the floors of course...).

The bags has an especial technology which fills the bag from the top to the bottom. The benefit is that unlike with most other vacuum bags this helps to use the full capacity of the bag where the conventional ones usually get filled with air thus wasting the capacity. It has a beater brush which are especially designed to deep clean carpets (including removing pet hair too). So if you have a lot of carpets filled with dust and want to deep clean them with professional looking results then the 4870HZ is an excellent vac which is made for just that purpose.

Now as always with professional products it is a bit heavy but if you want those nice looking results then you'll gave to bear that weight nonetheless. But that being said, other than lifting it and carry around frequently, it is pretty easy to both pull and push. But the beater brush is not the best durable one to be honest, so remember to remove it and clean.

You can use it on rugs and bare floors as well. When switching from carpets to hardwood for instance make sure to use the that change the suctions (more on the manual). So as a conclusion, for a reasonable price the eureka 4870hz upright vacuum cleaner is a really good vac if you're willing to bear the weight and the bit low durability of the beater roller.
