Bissell Momentum Cyclonic Upright Vacuum

Bissell momentum cyclonic upright vacuum cleaner is another (the 82G71 model) cheap vac from Bissell. The price is below $98 and even though there are similar products available but most of them lack what it "needs" to have in order to be called as a decent vacuum. It has a wider cleaning path, very long power cord, a head light and few accessories are among the few that  you get when you purchase it.

So let me give you some of the hardware specifications and the start the review itself.

*. Comes with the cyclonic vacuum suction technology.

*. Upright design.

*. The brushes includes another Bissell patent technology called the "DirtLifter".

*. Around 30 ft of wire cord. This is really long and usually these devices comes about 23-25ft mark which is quite decent but as I usually put - anything that is beyond 30 ft will always be more than enough (in most situations anyway).

*. Comes with HEPA filters but lacks the Microban feature.

*. They recommend this to be used on carpets, bare, upholstery, stairs and low pile carpets.

*. The cleaning path is one of the widest which is about 15". This not only speeds up the process but thanks to the lower height you won't have big troubles while trying to reach areas such as under carpets, cabinets, etc for instance.

*. This is not a lightweight vac by any means (about 10.4 kg). So if you're going to need it be easily carry-able then you might want to consider something like this 12v vacuum cleaner for example. 

*. Motor uses about 12 Amps (usually the standard power usage).

*. Does not use bags to store the dirt (bagless).

*. If you're purchasing this then make sure to look for the following things - crevice tool, turbo brush, dusting brush and an upholstery tool.

*. The extension wand can be used when trying to reach for chairs and other similar upper areas.

*. Head light is also provided (embedded).

*. The warranty applies to a year (1).

The dust cup is not the biggest but is reasonable for the price and the vacuum suction in quite powerful nonetheless. So if you have a house filled with dust (no offense .... :D) then you might have to empty the tank few times because of the smaller cup capacity. The wire is not a rewind one, so be careful while using and don't let it go inside the nozzle which can damage it.

May not be the best but it is a pretty decent pet hair remover as well. With the help of the hose you can clean upper places but take extra precautions while on subtle materials such as curtains for instance since the powerful suctions can do some damages otherwise. The hose does not have the suction as the cleaning path has but still it is pretty powerful (low durability though). A soft bumper is also provided for protecting furniture from scratches.

It is an excellent carpets cleaner (including pet hair removing as said before) and should be able to use on bare floors as well (but you can't turn of the brushes, so be careful while on hardwood or anything that is subtle). Although the noise is a bit high but still for its price and power it is acceptable.

So to wrap things up, if you have a lot of dirty carpets  that has to be cleaned by using a powerful vac that comes with few tools, cheap but can be at peace with the fact that it is a bit noisy and have some weights then the bissell momentum cyclonic upright 82G71 is a really good product. Seriously at this price you can't ask for more!.
