Dirt Devil Kurv

Dirt devil kurv is a rechargeable hand-held portable vacuum cleaner and apart from the hardware features the physical design itself is very "refreshing". I mean it's not the sort of a device that you see often. It is well coated with with a darker Red (and some other mixtures, etc) and looks really "shiny", can easily be mistaken for a flower vase actually. Anyway I don't think the physical appearance is something most of us really care if it gets the job done. So let's head back to the review (the M0216SPC model code named spice) including hardware details, etc first.

*. Very unconventional design (physically and looks really nice btw).

*. Really ease to empty.

*. As you can guess not a heavy duty product ... only a lightweight hand-heald vac.

*. The motor is reasonably powerful (for its kind) and uses about 9.6 Volts according to the manufacture and uses single cyclonic air suction technology.

*. Wiress.

*. 3 Years of warranty.

*. You will have to go through a very simple assembly before doing anything else.

*. Bagless design.

*. The only provided accessory is a dirt cup.

*. The weight is about 2 pounds or just below 1kg (so the kurv is the most lightweight vacuum cleaner that I've reviewed so far).

*. The filters are replaceable and are standard ones (no HEPA it seems).

It contains a soft tip section for protecting subtle surfaces such as hardwood or antique furniture, etc while cleaning (a type of a soft bumper I guess). It can also be used on rugs and carpets as well but can only be recommended to be used on a smaller area + won't have impressive pet hair removing abilities either. Make sure to wash and clean the filter itself and remember to dry it out thoroughly before putting it back into it.

The finish as mentioned before is very attractive but it seems to have a down side of its own. The polished outer surface and the design itself makes it a bit difficult when grabbing. And because of its subtle nature it is advisable not to try to suck any hard materials either. As said the noises are pretty low (not a surprise when considering its suctions) but still it does a fine job for its size.

So if you want something a bit unusual looking for vac with a cheaper price that can be used only for light-duty smaller places (around kitchen, on tables, couch and furniture, etc) then the dirt devil kurv m0216spc is actually a pretty good product.
