As always with Miele, this is a very quiet vac and it has a little wight thus even if you have to carry it around quite a lot, it's just perfect for that as well. Another thing is, when moving from carpets to hard floors you don't have to change the nozzle. The default nozzle is especially designed to work extremely well on low/deep-pile carpets and rugs + hard floors too, but there is a dedicated attachment for bare floors which you should use to get the best results. Thanks to the superior suction and the nozzle, it's also an excellent pet hair remover as well.

The nozzle has moderate widths thus it easily fits in between tight or hard to reach places and when combined with the upholstery nozzle for instance, it does remove a lot of dust/pet hair from subtle places like furniture too!. The durability is also quite excellent (well, it is a bit pricey...).

So, if you want a very powerful/durable canister that makes very little noises but willing to pay its higher price, then the Miele S2120 Delphi is an excellent product. Can be highly recommended for both light-duty and heavy duty jobs.
