This is not a self propelled vac but because of the massive power the motor (to the brush-roll) delivers... it just glides on carpets. So no worries there. It has 6 different height adjustments, from deep pile to low pile carpets, the S647E can be recommended for all of them. From larger debris such as food spills to dust/pet hair, etc... it removes them all with great looking carpets afterward!.

Although this should not be used on floors other than carpets since those brushes (beater bar) can easily make scratches. So if you have bare floors then this is not the vac for you. The 6kg of weight makes it very easy to use as well. Even if you have to lift it and carry around a lot, still this would be a great product. The bags doesn't fill that often, which of course depends on how dirty your carpets and the wire cord is also very long and it is more than enough for most of us anyway.

So, if you're looking for a vac that is really powerful which is built to do one task that is to thoroughly clean all sorts of carpets with ease and has a somewhat lower price tag for its caliber, but okay with the fact that you won't get any tools nor it is capable of cleaning anything other than carpets, then Sanitaire S647E SYSTEM PRO is one of the best!.
