The LUV400T can be used on both carpets and bare floors and switching between the floors are as easy as switching a button!. Adjusting the height is also pretty easy (foot switch as mentioned) but although not the most light weight vac of all but it cleans really well nonetheless. From deep-pile/low-pile carpets to wood, hardwood, tiles, etc... it comes with superior suctions on all sorts of floors.

The noise levels are quite low when considering its power and the almost 10 meters long wire cord is really super long :). From convention dust/debris to food spills, pet hair, etc it just suck 'em all in!. The dust-can is easy to empty too. Although the weight won't make in any easier if you have to lift and carry around.In that case this may not be the vac for you.

But other than that, if you want to clean a lot of different types of floors/places (mattress, upper areas, etc) and looking for a powerful/durable companion that makes less noises then LG LUV400T is an elegant solution!. A bit pricey as usual... but you'll get what you're paying for, nonetheless!.
