Not only dust, but because of the suctions it easily removes food spills, smaller looking plastic particles (you know that kids usually break ;-) ), etc as well. This vac actually is not just a house cleaning product but can even be recommended to be used as a commercial vacuum in places such as office or hotels... where you need a heavy duty vac. As always, this is not just "something" that's going to last a year or 3... it should last 10-20 years without loosing any of its capabilities if properly used!.

Although the 7+kg of weight won't make it easily portable if you usually going to have it carry around to another floor for instance but if you need a commercial vac then you should be willing to sacrifice some of those "easy to use" features in my opinion. And still while pulling and pushing the weight makes no trouble whatsoever either. It can be bent at a 180 degree angle which is very useful when trying to clean under tables or beds for instance. And as I said before the nozzle 12 inch width could well be something that they've done intentionally rather than a little drawback, since having a moderate width can be very useful in those situations.

It is so powerful that you can clean a very large area without having to fear about losing the quality. If you want the best results on bare floors then make sure to use the floor tool attachment, but still without it, it gives excellent results on the bare floors as well.

So, if you want a commercial vac that can be used to clean your office space or need something that is very powerful yet very quite for cleaning inside your house but willing to pay its higher price, then seriously you won't find many that can perform like the Sebo X4 Extra does!.
