Bissell Rug Stick, A High-Traffic Area Cleaning Formula (Great for Rugs)

If you have carpets or rugs on heavy traffic areas such as near door-steps, etc then without a doubt they are the ones that are harder to clean. Carpets and rugs can be a bit more difficult than the others because of their nature, you'll have to be careful otherwise even if you're successful at getting out of those dust but still the gentle areas such as the fibers, etc can be damaged thus reducing their twist or "spring" nature.

So in that sense, the bissell rug stick is a cleaning tool that comes with a stick type handle of its own and is especially designed to be used on heavy traffic areas + the stick can be converted into to a longer cleaning foot as well (5 pieces design). Below are the standard product information...

*. Also comes with a spray nozzle.

*. A Brush.

*. 255 Grams of Heavy Traffic formula.

How to use it ?

*. As mentioned in a previous article, first test it with a smaller area for any color fading, etc. So put some of the "heavy traffic" formula on a test surface and let it dry out. If you notice any of color fading, etc afterward then do not use it. If everything seems to be fine then you're ready for the next step.

1. First move the liver on the stick to the position of "lock" sign.

2. Remove the can cap and shake it well.

3. Now again move the stick lock to the "spraying" (unlock position).

4. Now the brush should be facing up and pull the rug stick towards you which automatically releases the formula on the surface (apply it thoroughly).

5. Now flip over the stick to make the brushes contact the surface and start brushing. Now Bissell advices in order to get the best results - you should brush in multiple directions.

6. Now after you're done, let it dry out. And then vacuum it.

Buy directly from Amazon!
*. The amazon link actually takes you to a a bit older version of the Rug Stick. The model is called the - Woolite 850B. Could not find the latest version (sorry about that but it is as fine as the new one anyway).

Before storing the stick make sure to lock it using the liver (to prevent accidental chemical sprays, etc). Now as said this is especially made out to be used on rugs but according to the manufacture it can also be used on - carpets, stain resistant carpets, upholstery (wool, nylon, acrylic).

*. Never use it on - velvet, silk, leather, vinyl, natural fiber rugs (sisal), or cotton.
