How to use it ?
*. As mentioned in a previous article, first test it with a smaller area for any color fading, etc. So put some of the "heavy traffic" formula on a test surface and let it dry out. If you notice any of color fading, etc afterward then do not use it. If everything seems to be fine then you're ready for the next step.
1. First move the liver on the stick to the position of "lock" sign.
2. Remove the can cap and shake it well.
3. Now again move the stick lock to the "spraying" (unlock position).
4. Now the brush should be facing up and pull the rug stick towards you which automatically releases the formula on the surface (apply it thoroughly).
5. Now flip over the stick to make the brushes contact the surface and start brushing. Now Bissell advices in order to get the best results - you should brush in multiple directions.
6. Now after you're done, let it dry out. And then vacuum it.

Before storing the stick make sure to lock it using the liver (to prevent accidental chemical sprays, etc). Now as said this is especially made out to be used on rugs but according to the manufacture it can also be used on - carpets, stain resistant carpets, upholstery (wool, nylon, acrylic).
