Vax Hard Floor Master S2 is a light weigh steamer that can be used to clean hard floors such as tiles, sealed wood, hardwood, vinyl, etc. Although it is not a carpet washer or a steamer, yet you can use it to refreshing carpets and rugs nonetheless.

It does not use any chemicals and comes with a wider swivel mop, because of the high temperatures can kill germs/bacteria/dust-mites and other allergens too. If you have greasy spots or stains, then it'll "melt" them down and cleans them afterward with ease as well.

Although the wire cord is short in my opinion which is about 5.8 meters still not that bad either. It does loosen up stains and is pretty efficient on surfaces like tiles and wood for instance, but not the best for removing stains on carpets though (it is not suppose to do that "excellently", can't blame the S2 anyway). It is always best to use the measuring jug rather than filling it manually, because with steamers, you should not fully filled the tank to its maximum capacity. Otherwise, because of the pressures the steam creates can damage the tank (if you do it manually, then make sure to let there be some space left in the tank, a small margin).

The mop is wide + has a little height which as a result makes it glide easily under tables and beds for instance. The steam is heavily controlled thus once mopped, they dry out really fast!. The mop/s are machine washable, but only use washing power when doing so. As promised by Vax, you can use it on carpets and rugs as well, but only as a refresher, so don't get too excited :).

But other than that, if you have a lot of hard floors to clean and looking for something that is easy to use, lasts 20 min+ once fully filled, a reasonable price, then Vax Hard Floor Master S2 is an excellent product.
