Use A Little Hot Water Before Grabbing Your Mop!

You don't always have to go for a steam-mop. With the proper preparation and "tools", which can be as simple as a cheaper non commercial mop or a piece of cloth, etc... you can clean most of your tiled or Linoleum kitchen floors with excellent results, including those stubborn stains!.

So, next time, before you use the wet-mop, first boil some water and pour a little bit on those "stainy" or dirty spots and let it "rest" there for few minutes. Water is a natural solvent but when combined with heating, it helps to both loosen up + dries out faster as well.

Now you can use your non-electric mop with mildly or hot tap water (with the help of some dishwasher detergent) and see the results for yourself. And by following this method, not only your floors are left with non-lethal chemicals (with bad odors) but helps to save few bucks on commercial mops and chemicals as well.
