Vacmaster VP205 is a light weight wet/dry vac that has a 1.75HP motor, large tank, few tools, auto shut off (prevents overflow), takes very little space while storing and comes with a reasonably powerful blower that can clear out your way and drying damp surfaces as well.

First of all, the VP205 is a cheap, light duty vac and not a heavy duty wet/dry vac by any means. The handle has a comfortable grip and even after keeping all the tools on-board, it still weights little and as a result it is highly portable. The handle can be folded down when storing as well. It does not have wheels, thus don't expect it to "follow" you either.

Although the start of the review may feel drifting towards a bit negative "end" but in truth, the VP205 is actually a pretty good product!. It has moderate suctions but still has the ability clean inside vehicles, furniture or anything that is small in size with good results. The noises are quite moderate which is not a surprise when considering the power of the motor. The wire cord is not that long, but it is long enough to reach inside van/car + when coupled with the crevice, it certainly does clean really well inside tight places too.

So, the Vacmaster VP205 can only be recommended for you, if all you want is a light duty ready cheap vac that can be used to clean smaller areas inside house or vehicles in general. The durability is not superb, but quite moderate and they do give you 2 year warranty (limited) period nonetheless.
