Bissell Quicksteamer

Bissell Quicksteamer is an upright steam cleaner which weights a little but still capable of doing some pretty good carpet, rug and bare floor cleanings. The motorized 6 rows of rolling brushes are especially designed to clean dust and the stains, spots, etc as well. Let's have a look at some of the main specifications (1770 model) first...

*. As said dirtlifter (their trade mark) brushes are especially designed to work well while removing stains and dust.

*. But one apparent problems is the negation of the inbuilt heater. So if you want steam then you'll have to boil the water and pure it in.

*. Also has the ability to remove pet hair from the surfaces too.

*. The cleaning path however is not that wide which is about 9".

*. The suction motor is a 3Amp one and won't be able to produce huge suctions anyway.

*. Wire cord length is 20ft.

*. The water tank capacity is 0.5 Gallons.

*. A bare floor tool is provided for accessories.

*. Has cleaning solution for removing spots and stains.

*. Comes with a one year warranty period.

First of all remember the name actually a bit misleading and as I pointed out earlier this does not have a heater. So if you actually want heat then you'll have to boil the water, which is not the most interesting job in the world anyway. So remember that. And even if you pure hot water inside it but after few minutes the heat will start to wear out which is another disappointment.

But still if you can live with that, then this is capable of removing dust and stains from your rugs and other surfaces nonetheless. And comes with two separate tanks (both removable) and when filled with dirty water it can be emptied without much of a hassle. It is easy to carry around because of the weight too.

The price is low in comparison (could be the reason of its popularity apart from the heater issue). So ONLY if you're okay with the negation of the heater, then the bissell quicksteamer is not that bad actually. But because of 3amp motor, etc this however cannot be recommended for heavy duty usages, but all you want is a cheap steamer for light-duty jobs, then yes it is not a bad product at all.
