The will most certainly be handy when cleaning stairs and if you have to lift and carry it around. The on/off button is located on the soft gripping section. And that width of the cleaning head makes it easy to navigate and clean tight places like bathrooms. places with lots of furniture, etc.

Depending on the surface the drying up times will differ but as a tip try to use that provided cloth pad to absorb more water left on the floors. Then use the scrubby pad afterward for the maximum results. The filters are washable and easy to maintain (removing and inserting, etc). The cleaning chemical also has a nice smell that comes after using but one good thing is that, unlike some other product you can use a lot of different cleaning chemicals (third-party made) with the vac.

So if you want to clean a lot of different floors but still want the machine to be easy to use (including a reasonable price), then the Bissell flip it hard floor cleaner 7340 can be highly recommended.
