Sebo automatic x1 is an upright vacuum cleaner that comes with the approval of British Allergy Foundation for its S-class mites and dust filtering system. The motor is a 1150 Watt one and may falls a bit shorter in comparison with the 1400 mark, but sebo has a reputation of making vacs with less "Watts" but still being able to outperform the "standard" counterparts. The noise levels are also less with the x1, which is about 66dBA. So it is quite.

Like with almost all of their product this is multi floor cleaner (can be used on hardwood, wood, carpets, etc) + including the ability to remove pet hair too. Delivers powerful vacuum suctions, although not one of the most powerful ones, but still is a powerful one nonetheless. Very durable design thanks to the materials that are being used and for Sebo product they can easily last 9-12 years under heavy duties (without loosing their abilities of course).

The noises are very low, mainly thanks to the motor and the well sealed out surface. Anyway, for a low price in comparison with some of the pricey vacs, the Sebo automatic x1 upright vacuum cleaner does an exceptional job.  If you want durability and excellent results then this is the one to go for!

Sebo Felix 1 Premium Vacuum Cleaner

Sebo felix 1 premium is an upright vacuum cleaner which is made especially for cleaning carpets and hardwood floors. It has two motors, one for the vacuum suctions and the other for the motorized brush rotations. Other than that, it has an automatic brush turning off feature (for protecting the brushes and the roller, etc) and 4 different height adjustments as well.

For attachments you'll get a crevice tool and a hose but for extra needs a dusting brush can be purchased separately. A parquet brush it also provided to be used while cleaning hardwood floors. And when comparing with other vacs such as the dyson dc23 allergy parquet for instance which also pack with 1400 Watt (single motor) power but still the Sebo vacuum cleaner packs two motors with 1475 Watts and still weights less which is impressive.

The larger bag capacity will last a long time actually (depending on the use of course) and the indicator will automatically tell the user when it is time to remove it (full). The wider cleaning head covers a larger area but still is slim enough to fit under almost all thin corners and under furniture, etc. This can be used on various types of floors but the best results will come while using on hardwood and carpets and when switching into surfaces like wood, make sure to turn off the brushes.

The price maybe a bit higher than usual but when it comes to the performance of this lightweight vacuum cleaner the Sebo Felix 1 premium is unmatched (no wonder why they have such a reputation). A highly recommended product.

Sebo X4 pet is an upright vacuum cleaner and if you're struggling with pet hair or stubborn stains on your carpets then this will suit you most definitely. It has the ability to prevent any bad odor issues which is another major concern among individuals who has a lots of cats and dogs (ahh those beloved pets :D).

The overall design (size, etc) makes it easy to reach areas such as under beds and when properly used the power cleaning solution will remove your stains (pet stains, etc) from carpets with excellent results!. Few additional guidance can be found in the manual for using the powder solution, so make sure to read it before applying.

In comparison with other products such as the Dyson DC23 Allergy Parquet for instance the 1300 Watts may seem just a little bit shorter but surprisingly this German vacuum cleaner even seems to out perform some of the higher "Watt" powered ones too. The bag has a wider capacity so not only it can be used for longer period of times (well depending on your usage and the dust amount actually...) but can save some bucks as well.

So for all of those who want to get rid of dust, stains and pet hair from their carpets, wood, hardwood (oak, etc) floors the sebo x4 pet upright vacuum cleaner can be highly recommended that comes with guaranteed results!.

Dyson DC24 Blueprint Limited Edition

Dyson dc24 blueprint limited edition is an upright vacuum cleaner which is light in weight and has some decent suctions. In speaking of a more technical manner, it has 115 Air Watts and when comparing with some of their previous cleaning products such as this dyson dc19 allergy for example (which has a massive 280 Air Watts) the 115 seems a bit low but when taken into account few positive things such as the weight and the moderate noise for instance, this is not such a a bad thing. Not the most powerful one out there but still has some pretty decent vacuum suctions nonetheless.

All the buttons are placed in their proper places with Blue colors when matched with the whole machine's color it is very easy to locate them. If you have lots of low pile carpets then the negation of height adjustments won't have any negative affects all and can be achieved pretty good results. With long shag carpets on the other hand however, with a fixed height, sometimes can be a bit difficult to use and may not bring the "exceptional" results either.

The extension wand has no power-brush attachments so removing pet hair, etc won't be that efficient (anyway you can purchase a separate brush from Dyson). It has the "Dyson Ball" feature and as a result rotations, etc are pretty easy to perform.

The "A" type (high quality) HEPA filters are durable as always and has to be removed and cleaned depending on your usage (read the manual for more...). The dust cup is again very easy to empty which can be done as easy as by pushing a button!.

So as a final conclusion, if you don't the need height adjustments and can be satisfied with the moderate suctions (for its size and caliber it is quite powerful!) then the dyson dc24 blueprint limited edition upright vacuum cleaner will be a fine tool which does its job pretty decently at the end.

Dirt Devil M0105

Dirt devil m0105 is a hand held portable vacuum cleaner that is especially made out to remove pet hair from your floors. Although not something unique to the M0105, but as a general rule you will have to take extra care for the filters when using under pet hair. Anyhow, it is powerful, light in weight, durable nozzle and has a longer wire cord as well.

Here are the main hardware specifications of this product...

*. Has a see through cup to hold all the dirt hence you can just forget about bags.

*. The filters (HEPA) will block 100% of common pet dander + allergens, etc.

*. It maybe a smaller looking utility but is capable of even sucking out food spills because of the suctions.

The 7Amp motor (including the motorized brushes) will remove animal hair, deep carved dust and even some stains as well. Can be used on stairs, furniture, upholstery, kitty litters, etc. The tool-kit that is provided when buying is also very impressive which includes - a crevice tool, extension hose, dusting brush, 24 ft hose attachment, etc. The nozzle is made out of steel and is very durable.

The brush on/off switch is mounted near the fingers. But make no mistakes, this may look smaller but it does make some loud noises. But since it does the job which it is made out to do exceptionally well, this could be "somewhat" forgivable. The nozzle is wide for its size and as a result you can get cleaned your furniture or couch with "speed" without having to worry about hurting the overall quality.

The dust cup however is small and if you have a lots of pet hair, etc around then be prepared to empty it few times. But again when considering its size this has to be accepted and tolerated nonetheless. It also produces some heat but not a big concern since it is again a "common" thing for these devices.

So if you want to get rid of your pet hair, dust and some stains using an easy to use hand held vac that has a very reasonable price, then the Dirt Devil m0105 is one of the best hand-held vacuum cleaners that can be highly recommended.

Stick Vacuums For Hardwood Floors

When it comes to choosing a stick vacuums for hardwood floors one of the main interests of the users is the low weight. Although if you can handle the bit higher weight value then something like the euro pro shark nv22 can be highly recommended but still for ease of use and light-duty works a stick vac can be a handy companion nonetheless.

But for those who want featherweight (or middle... we certainly don't want the weight to be that light since it will "remove" some of the powerful air suctions + robust brush rolls, etc) product, I will review the Emer 908013 Donnatello upright (908103u model) vacuum cleaner today which is made by another USA based manufacture (Emer).

This is a really good stick vac for hardwood surfaces as mentioned before and make sure to use the wood floor nozzle attachment to get the most out of it. The nozzle is wide but but still has a little height, so as a result it easily glides under beds and tables. This is well build and thanks to the well sealed outer "coat" the noise levels are also quite moderate.

Although if you want to clean parts of your ceiling or other upper areas then you'll have to manually purchase an extension hose (from the manufacture themselves) since they won't provide one by default. The HEPA filters perform really well and are easy to maintain as well. .

So for those of you who want a powerful stick vacuum for hardwood floors but still want it to carry as low weight as possible then the Emer 908013 Donnatello upright vac (908013u) is a highly recommended product.

Honeywell Hepa Filter 24000

Honeywell hepa filter 24000 is an air cleaner filter that is both durable and efficient. They've been producing air cleaners, humid, etc filters for a long time now and are also among the top manufactures in the industry like the Oreck for instance.

The 24000 HEPA filter is a robust design which is capable of blocking 99.99% of allergens and other harmful particles in the air inside of your home thus creating a more secure environment. This is built out to be used on their 13520 air purifier model. And remember this filter won't work with any other device other than the 13520 model.

And even though they've some top performing (still quite) units without a doubt but this filter is a bit noisy. And the filter or the air purifier won't tell you when it is time to replace it. So other than using your common sense and looking the usage, unusual heavy noise, the dust on the outer surface, etc there is no way that anyone can tell when it is time to replace the hepa filter.

This will also fit the older (now discontinued air cleaner..) 63500 model also. And as a general rule the filter has to be replaced within 1- 3 years, but the it heavily depend on the actual usage. Other than blocking the allergens the honeywell hepa filter 24000 also has the ability to filter out things like - pet dander, dust mites, mold spares as well.

Electrolux Harmony EL6985

Electrolux Harmony EL6985 is a canister vacuum cleaner which has a lot of attachments and powerful suctions but at the same time easy to use as well. The HEPA filters are capable of blocking allergic materials and are one of the best. So if you have allergens to dust, want to find a vac that use vacuum bags and creates less noises, then EL6985 is for you.

The featherweight telescopic handle is very easy to use, especially on cleaning upper sections of furniture for instance. As said the HEPA filters are very durable and perform really well and there are several types of bags that you can purchase such as the standard bags (with standard filtration) or the Clinic bags with a filter of their own to block mites, etc, so if you have allergies then this is perfect for you.

As promised, it is quiet and can even watch TV without having to "fight" with the volume. Make sure to use the foot switch when switching from hardwood to carpets for instance. The cleaning head is wide (11inch) but there are however even bigger ones such as this bissell healthy home vacuum (has a mammoth 15 inch one) but the 11" is more than enough and does the job that it is made out to do anyway (you know helps to get it into narrow corners or under debs easily).

It even did a great job removing pet hair on several floors but the performance on shag carpets wasn't great, more likely a "decent". So for those types of carpets or little rugs you might want to consider something else (still it'll do great job on other floor types).

So, if you have a lot of bare floors and want something that is powerful and quiet then the electrolux harmony el6985 canister vac can be a great solution.

Electrolux harmony vacuum is one of the most quietest canister vacuum cleaners available in the market but the point here is not so much about the noise but also the power. The harmony do both these things, meaning it is really powerful and at the same time very very quiet. And according to the manufacture you can even use this while others are sleeping, they guarantee that it won't wake anyone either!, impressive right?. OK enough of excitements... let's head back to the review.

It also has a floor tool and a turbo nozzle for removing spots, pet hair removing, etc. Although it will do some pretty good cleaning on high-density carpets but feels like it lacks some of the abilities of the electrolux oxy3 model for instance. So if you have a lots of high-density carpets and don't want to work a bit harder then you might want to consider the oxy model. 

It is very light weight and easy to carry around even by lifting and thanks to the hose and the other attachments can be used to clean stairs, etc as well (easy to make it sit on the stairs). It gives excellent results on hardwood, rugs and even on tiles. Depending on the surface you will have to make the proper height adjustments and set the suctions to the "turbo" speeds under heavy dust.

So, if you want a powerful vacuum cleaner that can be used on various types of surfaces (including painstaking pet hair removal, etc) but would like to have the less possible noises then the electrolux harmony vacuum cleaner is one of the best products that can be highly recommended for anyone (not if you have a lot of carpets though).

Eureka Quick Up Cordless Vacuum

Eureka quick up cordless is a cheap upright vacuum cleaner that has a very low weight (about 1.8 kg) and this is another 2 in 1 type device such as this bissell 3106a featherweight. After looking at its reputation it seems like somehow it has been able to stay away from being just another "cheap and useless" vac which is something that usually happens when the prices goes down.

*. The filters aren't HEPA.

*. The dust cup is easy to empty.

*. Powered by a battery (6 Volts).

*. The nozzle section (cleaning path) has some decent widths which is about 7.5 in but in comparison with the 13-15 inch range, I must say this is pretty low (in comparison with the eureka comfort clean OH 4235 for instance). But for the low price this has to be tolerated.

*. Anyhow, the most important feature of this product is its ability to let the user to convert it into a handheld vac from the upright version just as easy as pushing a button!.

Can be used on various types of floors other than carpets and rugs (including hardwood floors) and the power rollers are capable of doing some real good cleaning. The battery is pretty decent and is removable. The reason I mention this is because there are some other products that come with battery fully attached to them (non removable). Not only this can be a pain in the a** when trying to repair, etc but also another benefit by having a removable battery is that you can keep a separate battery for longer uninterrupted cleaning sessions.

Anyway, when moving into floors, depending on the material make sure to turn off the brushes. This is really a great product at a very very low price (in comparison with the amount of work it does). So for those who want a lightweight vac and OK with the fact that it is powered by a battery and only suitable for light-duty jobs, then the eureka quick up cordless vacuum can be highly recommended.

Hoover Empower Bagless Upright Vacuum

Hoover empower bag-less is an upright vacuum cleaner that comes with HEPA filters which are according to the manufacture needs no washing! and should be replaced within every 3 years and has a 1 year warranty for them alone. And since it is a bag-less unit the dust cup is a see through plastic design and the darker Yellow color puts a beautiful look to the vac. It is a beauty ;-).

It removes impressive amounts of dust and even though you don't have to wash the filters but will have clean them nonetheless (somewhat often I mean). And the cup is see through and holds lots of dust but when trying to dispose it, it tends to be "leaky". So be aware of this and as a general rule of thumb it is wise to take it outside before emptying.

Make sure to clean filters otherwise they tend to be smelly. And as said will take out pet hair, food spills, etc from your floors , a lot!. It can be used almost all bare floors and carpets (including rugs) and among the best of its kind.

But the afterward cleaning the machine itself is the biggest drawback (a bit hard to remove). Anyway, if you're fine with that and the bad disposal method (as a result cannot be recommended if you have allergies) but need a powerful multi-floor ready vac, then the hoover empower bagless upright vac is pretty good nonetheless.

Dirt Devil Scorpion Hand Vac

Dirt devil scorpion hand vac is a powerful hand-held portable vac that has a 600 Watt motor (5Amp) - for devices in this product range a 5Amp motor means a lot of suction power, no need to say that it is a feather-weight - about 2.5lb and comes with a longer wire cord. Because of its powerful suctions, according to the manufacture Dirt Devil, the scorpion is cables of sucking in pebbles and sand parts that some of the other products "leaves" behind.

According to the manual it is 33% more powerful than some of the other similar products which is true actually. It just sucks! but remember, since it is very cheap vac, so as a result of the powerful suctions it creates noises (low quality outfit, I guess). So this is not a quiet one. It won't be suitable for using to clean larger portions of the house because of the size and caliber will take longer times but let me be cleaner about one thing. When it comes to removing dust from your tables or small rugs, the scorpion will definitely impress you without a doubt!.

And as promised it has the capability to suck in larger looking materials (sands or food spills, etc) as well. Although there aren't a lot of attachments to choose from but still at this low price range you can't really expect for a lots of options either. But, if properly used, the hose and the crevice tool especially, will help you when cleaning stairs or corners, etc.

Now as a little "con", the dust cup can sometimes be a bit of a pain to open but again not a big deal actually when considering the other benefits that you receive from it. So if you want a powerful, easy to use hand vacuum cleaner for a very cheaper price, then the Dirt Devil scorpion hand vac 08200 will most definetely be among the best of its kind. A highly recommended product.

Dirt Devil Rampage Pool Cleaner

Dirt devil rampage is a robotic pool cleaner that can operate without a user behind it. It scrubs and brushes then follow it with a vacuum job all by itself. So a very handy tool actually. It has very powerful brushes (motorized) and is built to be very robust in nature in order to stand up with the concrete bumps inside the pool, etc which is something that you should look when buying a pool cleaner especially.

It has a technology called the "quick clean" and as the name denotes it quickens the overall process significantly. For instance, a swimming pool which is about 20" x 40" will only take about 55-60 minutes for the rampage to finish the job!. It comes with a wireless or a remote control + the 55" wire cord length is more than enough to let it clean any standard sized pools without much of a hassle.

The computer chip inside it calculated the size of the pool and automatically adjusts itself to the environment. The filters are easy to remove, very durable and comes with the microban technology (killing germs, etc) too. No additional pumps are necessary since the on-board one does every thing from cleaning to sucking it all out, etc.

Anyhow, if you have Hayward drain covers (Hayward SPX-1048 models) keep in mind that, the Devil Rampage is pretty powerful and have a tendency to suck them in sometimes!, so keep that in mind. The automatic navigation works really nice and things like ladders can confuse it sometimes, but not a big problem by any means. The warranty is applied for 3 years.

So, if you want a solid pool cleaner and willing to pay the higher price then the Dirt Devil Rampage is one of the best of its kind. A highly recommended product.

It is not a self propelled one but still won't be that hard to use (when the rollers are turned off). And when it comes to clean your floors it is such a solid performer I gotta say it just rocks! (especially on carpets). It do weight but still has a very powerful (two) motors that are capable of doing some impressive heavy duty work nonetheless. The dust cup is also big and needs less "emptying" which is useful when cleaning a larger area for instance.


The hose nozzle is another pretty solid piece of equipment that "converts" hose into a telescopic handle and can be used to clean upper sections inside the house as a result but is not that long however. Although the durability is not bad but most of the outer parts are made out of plastic but since they give 5 years of warranty this won't be a huge issue.

The HEPA filters are scented ones (eliminate odors) actually, and have 4 different scents available to choose. So, other than the big weight unless you're looking for a portable vac, the dirt devil 130000 i upright vacuum cleaner is a 4 star (out of 5) solid performer when considering its power and capabilities.

Dirt Devil Kone M0213

Dirt Devil Kone M0213 is a cordless hand held vacuum cleaner that comes with an unusual appearance which is designed by Karim Rashid, the designer of the "Kurv". Now one of the main benefits you can get by the physical look of this vac is that it can be used as a somewhat "decoration" on your tables (other than cleaning) and when keeping it in the upright position you're putting it into the charging position automatically.

This is very easy to use mainly due to the 1.9 lb of weight which puts very little strains on the hands while using. The 7.2 Amp is really powerful and could also be one of the most powerful hand-held!. And as a result it is noisy and will have to clean the filters often too. I'd recommend getting better performing HEPA filters.

It can be used on tiles, hardwood, carpets, on your kitchen tables, etc and will pick up even bigger looking things as well. But the durability is not the best of what its capable of it seems, which should be due to its cheaper price tag. Anyway, if you're looking for a powerful but at the same time easy to use vac and okay with the noise, then the dirt devil kone m0213 is a pretty good hand-held vac.

Dirt Devil Accucharge

Dirt devil accucharge is a cordless stick vacuum cleaner (the M083424 version) that has an energy star approved battery which is not only environmental friendly but also cuts out 70% of the less power consumption without loosing any of its vacuum suction power!. The price is also low in comparison with some of the other similar solutions. The motorized brush rolls automatically shuts off when moving into bare floors and weight as little as 2.4 kg as well.

When considering other dirt devil vacuum cleaners this is not the most powerful one, but still it will remove pet hair and other dust particles from your carpets and other types of floors nonetheless. Depending on the material the time it takes to clean will vary but once charged this can last up to 18-22 minutes which is pretty decent. Because of the smaller weight it is a very handy portable vac too.

But again don't hope it will be a replacement for a commercial vac because it is what it is (a stick vac) and if you have a lot of hardwood and carpets to clean and OK with the non heavy duty decent results then the Dirt Devil Accucharge is for you.

Hoover Electric Broom Vacuum

Hoover electric broom is a stick vacuum cleaner (not a cordless) which is very similar to the previously discussed Hoover s2220 bagless upright. Not only it is lightweight but can also be used to clean rugs, wood, bare floors, etc as well. But this is not a heavy cleaning ready equipment and is a moderately powerful broom.

The 10 inch wide nozzle won't win any awards for the width (when comparing with the 14", 15" or even 15"+ versions) but still the width is pretty decent for its price. The handle can be used in horizontally when trying to clean under chairs and table for instance. The main switch is on the handle (near gripping area) and the height adjustments can be do through the foot switch.

This also has the ability to remove cat and dog hair out of the rugs and carpets but don't hope for superior outputs. But that being said, sometimes it feels like the plastic nozzle is better than the more pricey metal version since the plastic one won't do any scratching while using on hardwood surfaces for instance. The roller makes it easy to pull and push too.

But remember this is not a heavy duty product but for a very low price, if you have carpets and bare floors to keep clean and want something that is easy to use and "decent" results then the hoover electric broom upright vacuum cleaner is for you.

Dirt Devil Envision

Dirt devil envision M086710 is an upright vacuum cleaner that has both powerful rotating brushes + a larger dust tank/cup and most importantly it is cheap. Comes with darker Grey color with Green spots and looks OK but I don't think anyone in their right mind are interested in the shiny paints or the outfit as long as it is capable of performing well, right?.

OK, let's move on to the next section and talk more about hardware details, weight, etc more thoroughly.

Since it comes in three pieces (the dust cup, middle section and the handle) and will require some assembly from the user. So make sure to have a screwdriver with you, but won't take that long, after all this is not rocket science. But it will always be better to read the manual first. As mentioned the dust cup is large (about 12 inches tall and 7 inches around) which is a good thing since you can collect more dust and can avoid emptying it often .

As usual it has a 12 Amp motor and has a wide cleaning head which is about 15" when measured. At the bottom section it has a soft bumper (plastic) to protect while "hitting" on furniture, etc. The power cord is really long and a bit unusual for the low price as well which is about 8.2 in meters. But no rewind function available and will have to wrap it around the back (easy to do actually). Also around the bottom section there is a knob which lets you to change the height settings for carpets, etc (5 different settings).

Has some accessories as well such as a brush, upholstery tool, crevice tool and an extension wand. The hose is not that "stretchy" actually and can be a bit troublesome sometimes. The gripping section consists of a carrying handle feature.

Comes with the standard HEPA filters. Extension wand and the crevice tools are pretty useful but the hose is a real pain in the a** to be honest (too tight). It feels like made out of iron, really stubborn and won't help much while using.

The main power switch is located on the back side of the machine rather than the usual (useful as well) gripping section. Since the wire comes from the bottom section of the Envision vacuum cleaner, you'll sometimes have to hold it to avoid some difficulties (ran over it for instance). And the cleaning is good but not that impressive on hardwood, tiles or vinyl floors for instance. But in carpets the performance is really good.

However it is a light weight, easy to push and pull, has pretty good suctions but only seems to be useful on carpets and rugs. So if you have a lot of hardwood, wood, linoleum, etc surfaces then even though the dirt devil envision is really a cheap product, because of "troublesome" wire, weird power switch location, very hard to use hose, etc cannot be recommended for a serious customer. But if you're willing to live with those difficulties then at a lower price this won't be such a bad one either.

Dirt Devil Handy Zip Review

Dirt devil handy zip DD150XL is a hand held vacuum cleaner which is ideal for cleaning especially inside cars or vans, stairs, tables, etc. It weights very little but still packs with some decent vacuum suctions (180 Watts motor - not bad for these type of products) + long power cord and also has the wall mounting ability thus making it easier to store as well.

The out-look appearance isn't that good looking (darker Red with dirt devil logo all over the place, etc) but still who cares the look if it is cable of standing up to its promises!.

So as usual, lets talk some of the main hardware details first.

*. The good thing about it is that it's not a battery powered vac (even though there are pretty good cordless ones available too like this oreck bb100 for instance) and has a very long power cord which is about 7.5 meters or 30+ft in length. Very impressive and useful.

*. As said before the wall mounting ability for easy of storing.

*. Durable rotating brush for deep cleaning carpets, rugs or car seats (upper or the under sections, etc).

*. Uses bags to keep the dust and has a washable outer cloth bag.

*. Has an extension cable, crevice tool and a dusting brush as usual for the accessories.

The rotating brush is even capable of removing decent amounts of animal hair from the carpets and rugs as well. And the very unusually long power cable will be pretty useful while using on cars or vans by letting you reach deep inside them without having to worry about unplugging from the main outlet. The belt that drives the brushes has to be cleaned and may need replacing after using for some time.

However don't expect very strong suctions and feels more likely a electric sweeper type utility anyway (well, it is not supposed to replace a commercial vac). So, for a cheaper price if you want something that is easy to use and cleans well for its size and caliber then the dirt devil handy zip is not the best but a pretty decent hand-held vacuum cleaner nonetheless.

Dirt Devil Centrino

Dirt devil centrino cleancontrol M2881 is an elegant looking (shiny Red color) moderately powerful canister vacuum cleaner that comes with a reasonably larger dust tank, standard filters, small in size thus takes little space while storing and has a reasonably long (5 meters) wire with the cord-rewind feature.

*. There are no bags to worry about with this tool (bag-less) and has indicators for cup full.

*. See through dust container.

*. The larger and smoother rubber wheels make it easy not just while pulling and pushing but also 360 rotations as well.

*. Cable length of 5 meters which is when added with other tools (the hose length for instance) can let you reach 7+ circular area range.

*. Comes with a crevice tool and a dusting brush.

*. The dust container has a capacity of 0.8 Liters.

*. The on/off switch is located on the foot section and can be both good and bad type feature depending on the customer's "taste".

Now the suctions aren't that superior and fits somewhere in between the two extremes (let's say moderate). But the noises are surprisingly higher in comparison with the power, so be aware of that. The dust cup can be removed from the main unit and emptying is pretty simple to follow too.

But make sure to clean the filter bit often or you can purchase better performing HEPA filters to avoid frequent cleaning of the filters since they are removable. Anyway, when considering the low price the dirt devil centrino cleancontrol M2881 is a pretty decent cleaning and those shortcomings will have to be tolerated. Not a highly recommended product though.

Dirt Devil CV950, Review

Dirt devil cv950 LE is a central vacuum system that is especially made out for those adventurous individuals who likes to live in a RV. The CV950 LE version comes with the Red color but I'm not aware if there are any other color choices available to choose from. Anyway, it is easily mountable in a RV and the collected dust is kept in a separate tank (out side of the main unit). And thanks to the lots of tools that comes with it such as nozzle attachments, hoses, etc it can be used to clean even the most "toughest or tight" corners or under carpets inside your RV with ease as well.

Here are some of the main features of this product...

*. I'll put the physical attributes first - 7", 7.5" and 14.25" (height).

*. It may looks like a bit heavy but it isn't. The weight is about 6.3 kg and easy to use.

*. Included a 11.3 Amp motor (uses 120 Volts - AC).

Because of the design you can install this little central vac even under your sink. It is durable and will "stand-up" even if you travel a lot in bumpy rough roads, so it's very durable. Comes with an inlet switch. There is a relay which turns it on when you open up the hose but sometimes under bumpy conditions it tends to fall back thus turning it off, but under normal conditions (better roads, etc) it is not something to worry about but otherwise you may want to consider a replacement circuit board (which is usually cheap anyway).

The inlet wire is about 5ft long which is pretty decent also. It has powerful suctions and as said before will remove dust from a lot of different surfaces when combined with the provided tools. So, other than the small problem (which is fix-able anyhow) with the relay, the Dirt Devil cv950 LE is a must have central vacuum cleaner for all of those who love living in a RV. A highly recommended product.

Dirt Devil CE7900, Review

Dirt devil ce7900 is an excellent carpet extractor (cleaner) that has a powerful motorized brush rolls which rotates at the opposite directions and ultimately result in a better dust removal from your carpets. Another very useful thing about it is the separate tank which is used to keep the chemical solution separate from the water. So for any reason, if you don't like to use chemicals in some portion in your house, say... your kitchen for instance, then this is pretty useful.

Below are some of the main hardware details first...

*. Has dual brush rolls (motorized).

*. Rather than the more conventional method, it has two suction nozzles which can suck faster the dirty water on the rugs and carpets, but also will improve the drying up durations as well.

*. The wire cord has a length about 25ft which is pretty good.

*. The 7 Amp motor is a powerful one but not as powerful as the 12 Amp versions that comes with some vacuum cleaners but still it is quite powerful.

It comes with the guaranteed dry cleanings from the manufacture Dirt devil them selves, meaning that the dirty water will have very very low chance to absorb itself into the carpets. Thanks to the huge cleaning head you will be able to clean a larger carpeted area in your house with significantly faster times.

It won't "waste" cleaning solution by using larger amounts with the water (which is the case with some other products). And has the ability to give one of the best results in comparison with other similar commercial products such as this vax rapide carpet washer (which is another good product btw).

Even if you have the most thickest carpets still after using the ce7900 they will be dried out within 2 or 4 hours at maximum (decently dry even few minutes after using). Not only on carpets but this tool can be used no hardwood, tiles, marble or almost all types of bare floors as well. But the best results will be with the carpets nonetheless (including pet hair).And after filling with the water it will be a little bit heavier, but this is not a fault of its own since its unavoidable anyway and not a big concern either.

So after considering the Dirt Devil ce7900 carpet extractor's excellent performance, multi-usability (since it is suitable for multiple floor types, etc), larger tank, cheap but very good chemical solution, etc I'd rate it with 4 stars and 1 point is taken away due to the a bit heavier weight. But that being said if you have those needs then this is can be highly recommended for you.

Dirt Devil Easy Steamer

Dirt devil easy steamer is a steam cleaner that comes with a moderate weight, see through plastic outer surface (including the tank), powerful brushes, reasonably larger tank/s, a hose that is wrap-able on the upright, and cane be used to remove stains and spills on your carpets are just a few to mention.

Here are some of the main hardware details in brief...

*. Rotating (5 rows) brushes are capable of doing some deep cleanings.

*. In addition to the 8' hose attachment it also has an upholstery brush.

*. As said earlier, comes with 2 larger tanks (1 Gallon each). One for the dirt and the other for the water (steam).

*. Comes with a carpet shampoo solution which specializes in removing not only dust but also stains and spots as well.

The apparent difficulty is the negation of the self propel feature. Although this is no a huge draw back since even the most high end ones sometimes come without it. But as a result you'll have to put some force while pulling and pushing nonetheless (when the brushes are turned off).

If you have a lots of dirt and stains on your carpets, then there are especial spraying pattern that you can tryout such as the "x" type rather than using back and forth methods. Again thanks to the brushes it first loosens the dust and the pet hair on carpets and then removes them with really good looking results. But be aware that, if you have to clean a larger area then you'll have to empty the tank several times which is not that hard but not enjoyable either.

So if you're willing to bear the negation of self-propelled brushes and the tank issues (which only applies while cleaning larger ares as said btw), then the Dirt Devil Easy steamer is a pretty powerful steamer that can remove both dust/stains and pet hair from your carpets nonetheless.

Dirt Devil Vac n Mop

Dirt devil vac n mop is a rechargeable (cordless) upright vacuum cleaner which also has the ability to act as a mop (it has a cleaning solution of its own). It has a little weight, bag-less, reasonably wider nozzle +, since it is a rechargeable vac, you don't have to worry about wire cords either.

Below are some of the main hardware details in brief...

*. Comes with a 9.6 volts battery.

*. Spraying output at the front for applying the cleaning solution.

*. Use a dust bin (no bags required).

*. Weights around 2.26 kg and is highly portable.

*. Easy to empty dust cup.

The chemical can remove stains (not as impressive as some other commercial ones does) and work as an air-freshener too. They also provide two bottles of cleaning shampoos. Both pulling and pushing is easy thanks to the smoother mop but when not applying the chemical (which makes things wet) might be a bit hard but not a big problem anyhow. If you have stubborn spots or stains (food spills on your kitchen floor, etc) then the cleaning solution will come in handy without a doubt.

Not only on tiles or grout surfaces but you can use it on wood and hardwood floors as well and the results are more than satisfying. One thing about the pads though, they seem to be somewhat "rare" to find when its time to replace, so keep that in mind.

Once charged the battery can last up to a longer periods but my biggest complaint is that it is not removable. So if it dies or something similar happens, we're forced to take the whole unit to the manufacture or if the warranty no longer available then you'll have nothing but to buy a new one.

So if you can bear with those difficulties, then the CE4500 Dirt Devil vac n mop vacuum cleaner is a pretty decent product (3.5 stars, and you'd be better off using it for light-duty jobs).

Dirt Devil Dynamite Plus

Dirt devil dynamite plus is a cheap upright vacuum cleaner which is capable of changing most of the "negative" effects that all these cheaper vacs have "shown" with their results. Not only it is cheaper than most of the powerful ones that cost a lot of money, but for a very low budget the actual performance of this product, I must say... very impressive!.

Here are some of the main hardware features...

*. Weights very little (below 8lbs).

*. Comes with the Red color (although they do have Green, etc but they do have few product differences as well).

*. Can be used on carpets and bare floors.

*. Bag-less.

*. Easy to empty dust disposal method (uses a dust cup).

As said, the impressive aspect of this vac is the suctions. It sucks big time! (in a good way I mean :D ). It is quite a surprise actually for something that doesn't cost you much, but still has such powerful vacuum suctions. And as  result, (+ with the help of the filters and the rolling brushes) it cleans your carpets and bare floor really well.

But one negative aspect or more likely a design error (not a huge thing though), the Dyna power (which is a "borrowed" jet engine turbine technology) produces massive suctions but some of the output air seems to go in the direction of the dust also. As a result sometimes it can blew some of the dust on the floors.

But unless if you're pointing it directly at a fire place ashes for instance by accidentally, you don't have to worry much about it since when it comes to cleaning carpets it will fill up the dust cup quicker than you can imagine.

So, the dirt devil dynamite plus upright vac is one of the best products so far when considering the low cost, easy to use light-weight design and the unbelievable suctions (which makes some noises but isn't as high as they can be anyway). A highly recommended product.
